Abstract

Procedimiento para realizar un revestimiento vítreo o esmaltado sobre al menos una superficie de un soporte, caracterizado porque: - se limpia la superficie que se va a revestir; - se precalienta la superficie que se va a revestir hasta una temperatura de por lo menos 250ºC; - se proyecta sobre la superficie que se va a revestir el vidrio que formará el revestimiento, utilizándose este vidrio en forma de un polvo cuyas partículas tienen una granulometría media comprendida entre 40 y 100 micras, con un 0% de rechazo en tamiz de 150 micras, y una superficie especifica comprendida entre 800 cm2/g y 3000 cm2/g, realizándose la mencionada proyección con ayuda de un aparato susceptible de realizar la fusión de pleno de las partículas de vidrio durante la mencionada proyección y efectuándose en unas condiciones tales que la temperatura alcanzada por el vidrio en el momento de la formación de la capa superficial sea al menos igual a la temperatura para la cual log eta es como máximo igual a 2,2, siendo eta la viscosidad del vidrio a la temperatura considerada.
