Abstract

1319342 Photoconductive layer XEROX CORP 22 June 1970 [25 June 1969] 30100/70 Heading H1K The disclosure of the Specification is identical to that of Specification 1,319,341, but the claims relate to a method of making a photoconductive layer which comprises forming a coating on the surface of a supporting substrate, said coating comprising at least a major portion of vitreous selenium alloy photoconductor in particulate form and a minor portion of an insulating resin, annealing said coating at a temperature at or above the glass transition range for the selenium alloy so as to cause said alloy particles to flow and coalesce to form a vitreous selenium alloy matrix containing the resin in the form of discrete particles and/or partial networks.
