Abstract
Método mejorado para la fabricación de un material que contiene vanadio y carbono mediante el horneado al vacío de una mezcla de óxido de vanadio y carbono, en el que la mejora para hacer descender el contenido de azufre de dicho material comprende incluir en dicha mezcla por lo menos un material seleccionado entre el grupo que consiste en silicio, sílice y estaño, y someter dicha mezcla a una temperatura en el intervalo de aproximadamente 1.200ºC a 1.400ºC en dicho horno de vacío, completándose la reacción de dicha mezcla a una presión de menos de 300 micras.
