Abstract
PURPOSE:In the oxi-decarbrization refining of stainless steel, the pressure of refining atmosphere and the mixing ratio of oxygen blowed into molten steel and innert gas are changed according to C concentration in molten steel. Thereby, C concentration is decreased to the value less than 0.03% by the preferential oxidation without oxidation of Cr.
