Abstract

Procedimiento para la síntesis de amoniaco a presión y temperatura elevadas, en un convertidor, que comprende pasar una corriente de procedimiento de gas de síntesis en sucesión radialmente a través de un primer lecho de catalizador, a través de un cambiador de calor intermedio para enfriar la corriente de gas de síntesis por intercambio indirecto de calor, y radialmente a través de un segundo lecho de catalizador, y usar una corriente de alimentación de gas de síntesis para enfriar la carcasa del convertidor y la corriente de procedimiento.
