Abstract

A connector comprises a tubular meta ferrule 1, having overlapping longitudina edges 6, surrounded by an insulating sleeve 5 of plastics material through which the ferrule can be crimped to a wire (7), (Fig. 1, not shown), inserted therein. A seamless metal (e.g. copper) sleeve 3 is preferably inserted between the insulating sleeve and the ferrule which may have wire gripping serrations 2. The edges 6 may overlap around a quarter of the circumference of the ferrule (Fig. 1, not shown), and the insulating sleeve may be made of nylon or P.V.C.
