Abstract
Un dispositivo para la liberación de por lo menos un agente activo a un entorno ambiente, caracterizado por comprender: Por lo menos una lámina de núcleo emparedada entre filmes poliméricos co-extensivos que son sustancialmente impermeables al citado entorno y al citado agente, comprendiendo la citada lámina de núcleo una mezcla de la sustancia citada en una matriz polimérica, teniendo dicho dispositivo una o varias macroperforaciones que se extienden a través de los citados filmes y de la citada lámina de núcleo, estando seleccionados el diámetro y la disposición de las citadas macroperforaciones en relación con el espesor de la citada lámina del núcleo de manera que se exponga un área del borde interno de la citada lámina al citado entorno suficiente para producir la velocidad de liberación deseada del citado agente.
