Abstract

Válvula de mariposa, del tipo que comprenden un cuerpo tubular que delimita un conducto de flujo y una mariposa obturadora montada rotativamente en este cuerpo alrededor de un eje perpendicular al eje del conducto, portando uno de los dos elementos una guarnición de estanquidad elástica y el otro una superficie de asiento rara esta guarnición, definiendo la guarnición de estanquidad una línea de estanquidad idéntica a la linea media del asiento, con aplastamiento próximo a la guarnición, caracterizada porque en cada punto de la linea media del asiento, el plano tangente al asiento, forma un ángulo agudo al menos casi constante con la tangente a la trayectoria del punto correspondiente de la mariposa en el punto de contacto de la guarnición con el asiento.
