Abstract

1494403 Valves CHARLES WINN (VALVES) Ltd 5 March 1976 [21 May 1975] 21700/75 Heading F2V A butterfly valve has a seat ring 8 provided with an 0-ring seal 14 which are held in position in a recess of the valve body by a clamping ring 11 backed by angularly spaced screws 12 in a retaining ring 13 fixed in the housing. The seat ring 8 is of PTFE reinforced with glass fibres and the 0-ring of silicone rubber.
