Abstract

Un polipéptido que comprende una parte de seroalbúmina humana (SAH), cuya parte de SAH comprende el dominio III de SAH o un fragmento de unión al receptor Fc neonatal (FcRn) del mismo, en el que: el dominio III de SAH comprende una o más sustituciones de aminoácido en cualquiera de las siguientes posiciones, numeradas respecto a la posición en la SAH madura de longitud completa (SEQ ID NO: 2): resto 407, resto 415, resto 424, resto 426, resto 463, resto 506, resto 508, resto 509, resto 511, resto 512, resto 515, resto 521, resto 523, resto 524, resto 526, resto 535 y resto 557; la una o más sustituciones de aminoácido aumentan una o ambas de la afinidad por FcRn y semivida en suero del polipéptido respecto a un polipéptido de control en que la parte de SAH no incluye dichas sustituciones de aminoácido; y en el que, las sustituciones de aminoácido en la posición 506 se seleccionan de T506F, T506W, T506Y; las sustituciones de aminoácido en la posición 508 se seleccionan de T508K, T508R, T508S; y las sustituciones de aminoácido en la posición 535 se seleccionan de H535D, H535E, H535P.
