Abstract
Un aparato (2) para mejorar una señal de audio izquierda/derecha o central/lateral proporcionada por un receptor de radio estéreo FM (1), comprendiendo el aparato: - una fase de entrada configurada para recibir la señal de audio izquierda/derecha o central/lateral del receptor de radio estéreo FM; - una fase de mezcla descendente (9), estando configurada la fase de mezcla descendente para generar una primera señal de audio en función de la señal de audio izquierda/derecha o central/lateral mediante una operación de mezcla descendente; - una fase de estimación de parámetros de estéreo paramétrico (3), donde la fase de estimación de parámetros está configurada para determinar uno o más parámetros de estéreo paramétrico en función de la señal de audio izquierda/derecha o central/lateral de manera variable en frecuencia o de manera invariable en frecuencia; y - un módulo de mezcla estéreo (4), estando configurado el módulo de mezcla estéreo para generar una señal estéreo basándose en la primera señal de audio y en el uno o más parámetros de estéreo paramétrico; y - un módulo, en el que la fase de mezcla descendente, la fase de estimación de parámetros de estéreo paramétrico y el módulo de mezcla estéreo están implementados en dicho módulo.
