Abstract

Proceso para la hidrogenación catalítica de metilolalcanales de la fórmula general**Fórmula** en la cual R1 y R2 significan, independientemente entre sí, otro grupo metilol o un grupo alquilo con 1 a 22 átomos de C, o un grupo arilo o aralquilo con 6 a 33 átomos de, en la fase líquida en un catalizador de hidrogenación, caracterizado porque adicionando al menos una amina terciaria, una base inorgánica o un ácido inorgánico u orgánico al afluente de hidrogenación se ajusta un valor de pH de 7,0 a 9,0 en el efluente de hidrogenación.
