Abstract

El organismo hospedante no humano que comprende un polinucleótido que codifica un polipéptido que tiene una secuencia de aminoácidos que es al menos un 90% idéntica a la secuencia de aminoácidos expuesta en SEC ID NO: 2, con lo que en las secuencias de aminoácidos la glicina en la posición 149 se sustituye por un aminoácido proteinogénico, con lo que el polipéptido tiene actividad de γ-glutamil cinasa, con lo que se sobreexpresa el polinucleótido utilizando un promotor potente de modo que la actividad o concentración de la proteína correspondiente se incremente en al menos un 10% basado en la actividad o concentración de la proteína en el microorganismo de partida.
