Abstract
Un pistón (3) dispuesto para movimiento de vaivén en un cilindro de motor de combustión (2) entre una posición de punto muerto inferior y una posición de punto muerto superior, dicho pistón (3) incluyendo una cabeza de pistón (16) comprendiendo una superficie superior orientada a una cámara de combustión (7), dicha cabeza de pistón (16) conteniendo un rebaje de pistón conformado mediante una cavidad con una abertura hacia fuera, dicho rebaje de pistón comprendiendo una sección de rebaje externa ensanchada hacia el exterior (20) que tiene una forma cóncava curvilínea en sección transversal, dicho pistón (3) teniendo un área de impacto (41) de un frente de llama en progresión en dicha sección de rebaje externo (20), y en el que sensiblemente a mitad de camino entre dichas áreas de impacto (41) y en un plano sensiblemente perpendicular a dicho movimiento de vaivén están dispuestas unas protuberancias (70) que sobresalen en la cámara de combustión (7) y que tienen una forma suave adaptada para conservar la energía cinética en un frente de llama y en el que cada una de dichas protuberancias (70) tiene una forma de un resalte longitudinal que se extiende solo en el área de rebaje externo en un plano sensiblemente paralelo a o casi paralelo a dicho movimiento de vaivén, y en el que dicho resalte comprende un flanco lateral izquierdo (80), una sección superior (81) y un flanco lateral derecho (82) cuando se ve en un plano perpendicular a dicho movimiento de vaivén, en el que dichas protuberancias (70) están dispuestas para redirigir el progreso circular de la llama principalmente hacia un eje central (15) del pistón (3) con una interacción mínima de llama a llama, y en el que está dispuesta una sección de transición (83) entre cada uno de dichos flancos laterales (80, 82) y la sección superior (81) caracterizado por el hecho de que dicha sección de transición (83) comprende un borde de desviación (71) a fin de minimizar las pérdidas de flujo.
