Abstract
Un método de fabricación de una fuente de calor combustible (118) que tiene una barrera (200), que comprende: proporcionar un molde (100) que define una cavidad (102); colocar un componente en forma de partículas (108) en la cavidad del molde (102); colocar un componente laminar (114), adyacente al molde, para cubrir la abertura de la cavidad; comprimir el componente en forma de partículas para formar la fuente de calor combustible; en donde, durante la etapa de compresión, la barrera se forma perforando el componente laminar usando un punzón (112) y el molde, el punzón actúa sobre la barrera para comprimir el componente en forma de partículas y fijar la barrera a la fuente de calor combustible.
