Abstract

Un método para producir un producto de combustible nuclear (1), el cual método comprende las etapas de: proporcionar un núcleo (3) que comprende aluminio y uranio de bajo enriquecimiento; y sellar el núcleo en un revestimiento (5); en donde el núcleo (3) tiene una carga de uranio de bajo enriquecimiento estrictamente mayor que 3,0 gU/cm³ y comprende menos que el 10% (m/m) de fase de aluminio o compuestos de aluminio además de fase UAl₂, fase UAl₃ y fase UAl₄. Un producto de combustible nuclear (1) correspondiente.
