Abstract

Una estanteria perfeccionada para almacenar artículos de longitud considerable, tales como listones, barras, tubos, alfombras enrolladas, rodillos y similares, que consta de compartimentos dispuestos uno al lado de otros y/o unos sobre otros en una estructura de armazón, comprendiendo cada compartimento carriles longitudinales en los que un carro de ruedas estás destinado a correr, en donde el carro es corto y vertical y tiene esencialmente las mismas dimensiones en sección transversal que la sección transversal del compartimento, estando destinado el carro a soportar el extremo interno de los artículos, mientras que el extremo externo de los artículos y posiblemente sus partes intermedias descansan en la posición de almacenamiento directamente sobre la estructura de armazón y, cuando son insertados o retirados, descansan en un dispositivo elevador, o cuando el material está en su posición más externa, en un soporte móvil que es ajustable verticalmente.
