Abstract

1348306 Storage device O OECKL 11 June 1971 [25 June 1970] 27467/71 Heading A4T Storage apparatus comprises concentric circular rows of storage 1, 2, 3, an arm 10 with one end concentrically pivoted at 9 and supported at the other end by wheel 11 rolling on rail 12 supported on the outer storage top, and a carrier in the form of a carriage 18 rolling along the arm and carrying a mast 17 up and down which a device 19 is movable for delivering and removing articles from the storage compartments as it moves between adjacent rows. Motor 14, on the arm has a gear 15 engaging a rack 16 on the rail for pivoting the arm, the rail extending over at least one radial passage through the rows.
