La presente descripción se refiere al campo de composiciones que pueden ser útiles como composiciones de transferencia de calor, propulsores de aerosoles, agentes espumantes, agentes de soplado, disolventes, agentes de limpieza, fluidos transportadores, agentes de secado por desplazamiento, agentes de pulido por abrasión, medios de polimerización, agentes de expansión para poliolefinas y poliuretano, dieléctricos gaseosos, agentes extintores, y agentes de extinción de incendios en forma líquida o gaseosa. En particular, la presente descripción se refiere a composiciones que pueden ser útiles como composiciones de transferencia de calor, que comprenden 2,3,3,3tetrafluoropropeno (HFO-1 234yf, o 1234yf).

- Descripción de la técnica relacionada
Las nuevas regulaciones ambientales condicionan la necesidad de nuevas composiciones para uso en refrigeración, acondicionamiento de aire y equipos de bombas de calor. Son de interés particular los compuestos de bajo potencial de calentamiento global.
El documento US 2006/243944 describe composiciones binarias, entre otras, de HFC-1234yf y 1,3,3,3tetrafluropropeno (HFO-1234ze).
Compendio de la invención
Los solicitantes han encontrado que en la preparación de tales compuestos de bajo potencial de calentamiento global, tales como el HFO-1234yf, están presentes en pequeñas cantidades ciertos compuestos adicionales.
Por tanto, de acuerdo con la presente invención, se proporciona una composición que comprende HFO-1234yf y 3,3,3-trifluoropropino. La composición contiene preferiblemente menos de alrededor de 1 por ciento en peso de 3,3,3-trifluoropropino.
Breve descripción del dibujo
La Figura 1 es un dibujo esquemático que muestra una reacción para la producción de HFO-1234yf a partir de HFC245eb, y las reacciones colaterales a partir de HFO-1 234yf y HFC-245eb que pueden ocurrir simultáneamente durante la etapa de reacción de HFC-245eb a HFO-1234yf.

La presente descripción proporciona una composición que comprende HFO-1234yf y 3,3,3-trifluoropropino.
En una realización, la cantidad total del(de los) compuesto(s) adicional(es) en la composición que comprende HFO1234yf, que incluye 3,3,3-trifluropropino, varía desde mayor que cero por ciento en peso a menor que 1 por ciento en peso.
Las composiciones descritas en la presente memoria que comprenden HFO-1234yf son útiles como composiciones de transferencia de calor, propulsores de aerosoles, agentes espumantes, agentes de soplado, disolventes, agentes de limpieza, fluidos transportadores, agentes de secado por desplazamiento, agentes de pulido por abrasión, medios de polimerización, agentes de expansión para poliolefinas y poliuretano, dieléctricos gaseosos, agentes extintores, y agentes de extinción de incendios en forma líquida o gaseosa. Las composiciones descritas pueden actuar como un fluido de trabajo utilizado para transferir calor desde una fuente de calor a un disipador de calor. Tales composiciones de transferencia de calor pueden ser útiles también como refrigerante en un ciclo en donde el fluido sufre un cambio de fase, esto es, de un líquido a un gas y la inversa, o viceversa.
Los ejemplos de sistemas de transferencia de calor incluyen pero no se limitan a acondicionadores de aire, congeladores, frigoríficos, bombas de calor, enfriadores de agua, enfriadores evaporadores inundados, enfriadores de expansión directa, enfriadores centrífugos, cámaras frigoríficas, bombas de calor, refrigeradores móviles, unidades móviles de acondicionamiento de aire, y combinaciones de éstos.
Tal como se utilizan en la presente memoria, los equipos móviles de refrigeración, los equipos móviles de acondicionamiento de aire o de calentamiento se refieren a cualquier equipo de refrigeración, acondicionador de aire, o equipo de calentamiento incorporado a una unidad de transporte por carretera, ferroviario, marítimo o aéreo.
Adicionalmente, las unidades móviles de refrigeración o de acondicionamiento de aire, incluyen aquellos equipos que son independientes de cualquier transportador móvil y son conocidos como sistemas “intermodales”. Tales sistemas intermodales incluyen “contenedores” (transporte combinado marítimo/terrestre) así como “cajas móviles” (transporte combinado de carretera/ferroviario).
5 Tal como se utilizan en esta memoria, los sistemas estacionarios de transferencia de calor son sistemas contenidos dentro o conectados a edificaciones de cualquier tipo. Estas aplicaciones estacionarias pueden ser bombas estacionarias de acondicionamiento de aire y de calor (que incluyen pero no se limitan a enfriadores (incluyendo enfriadores centrífugos), bombas de calor de alta temperatura, sistemas de acondicionamiento de aire, domésticos, comerciales o industriales, y que incluyen los de ventana, provistos o no de conductos, de terminales
10 empaquetados, y aquellos exteriores, pero conectados a la edificación tales como sistemas en terrazas). En las aplicaciones estacionarias de refrigeración, las composiciones descritas pueden ser útiles en el equipamiento que incluye frigoríficos y congeladores comerciales, industriales o domésticos, máquinas de hielo, enfriadores y congeladores autónomos, enfriadores evaporadores inundados, enfriadores de expansión directa, frigoríficos y congeladores de cámaras y de expendedores, y sistemas de combinación. En algunas realizaciones, las

Claims (3)
- REIVINDICACIONES1.- Una composición que comprende HFO-1234yf y 3,3,3-trifluropropino. 2.- La composición de la reivindicación 1, en donde la cantidad total de compuestos adicionales en la composición que comprende HFO-1234yf varía desde mayor que cero por ciento en peso a menor que 1 por ciento en peso. 5 3.- La composición de la reivindicación 1 que contiene menos de 1 por ciento en peso de 3,3,3-trifluoropropino.
- 4.- Uso de una composición de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3 como una composición de transferencia de calor. 5.- Uso de una composición de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3 como un refrigerante. 6.- Uso de una composición de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3 como un refrigerante en10 acondicionadores de aire, congeladores, frigoríficos, bombas de calor, enfriadores de agua, enfriadores evaporadores inundados, enfriadores de expansión directa, enfriadores centrífugos, cámaras frigoríficas, bombas de calor, refrigeradores móviles, unidades móviles de acondicionamiento de aire, y combinaciones de éstos.
- 7.- Uso de las composiciones de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3 como propulsores de aerosoles. 8.- Uso de las composiciones de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3 como agentes espumantes. 15 9.- Un método de transferencia de calor en donde se utiliza un fluido de trabajo para transferir calor desde unafuente de calor a un disipador de calor caracterizado por que dicho fluido de trabajo comprende una composición de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3. 10.- El método de la reivindicación 9, en donde el fluido de trabajo es un refrigerante que sufre un cambio de fase deun líquido a un gas y la inversa, o viceversa. 20
