Abstract
Producto plano de plástico (1) con por lo menos un inserto textil (2) y un plástico espumado (3) envolviendo el inserto (2), el cual en la cara superior del producto plano (1) está gravado y/o impreso y en la cara inferior del producto plano (1) está densificado y provisto de un gravado (8) que tiene múltiples elevaciones (9) caracterizado porque el producto plano (1) tiene listones (4) que se extienden separados entre sí unos junto a otros, que forman la cara inferior o una parte de la cara inferior, y varillas (5) perpendiculares a los listones (4) que se extienden separadas entre sí unas junto a otras, y discontinuidades (6) que quedan entre los listones (4) y las varillas (5), teniendo los listones (4) un ancho de por lo menos 4 mm y no mayor de 15 mm, y a lo largo del ancho de los listones (4) están formadas varias elevaciones (9).
Description
La invención se refiere a un producto plano de plástico con un espesor pequeño en comparación con su largo y su ancho. El producto plano puede ser una pieza y en particular un recubrimiento para suelos o una alfombrilla para bañeras. Sin embargo la invención se refiere también a productos semi elaborados que como productos en forma de banda se presentan por ejemplo en rollos que todavía se han de elaborar posteriormente para obtener las piezas deseadas. Además la invención tiene como objeto un procedimiento para fabricar un producto plano de este tipo.
Los productos planos de plástico como a los que se refiere, aunque no exclusivamente, la invención parten del documento DE 24 14 862. Los productos planos de este tipo se utilizan en áreas húmedas, por ejemplo como recubrimiento en duchas o en bañeras, o como recubrimiento de suelos en baños, incluyendo baños públicos o saunas. Pero también, gracias a su efecto amortiguador del ruido de impactos, su resistencia al desgaste y su fácil limpieza, se utilizan ventajosamente en áreas secas como recubrimiento de suelos o en general como cubierta o como alfombra. Debido a su precio ventajoso son adecuados además para su uso en edificios públicos o en edificios de empresas, en particular como recubrimiento de suelos en talleres de fabricación. Para estas aplicaciones un criterio esencial es la seguridad de paso, en especial sus propiedades antideslizantes.
Por el documento US 2002/0197922 A1 se conoce un producto plano de plástico con un inserto textil según el preámbulo de las reivindicaciones 1 y 2. El inserto está embutido en una capa de plástico envolvente continua que está densificada en la cara inferior.
Un objeto de la invención consiste en mejorar los productos planos de plástico respecto a su propiedad antideslizante y a su efecto de drenaje.
La invención parte de un producto plano de plástico que consta de por lo menos un inserto textil y por lo menos un plástico espumado que envuelve el inserto.
El plástico espumado forma una cara superior y una cara inferior del producto plano. La cara superior está gravada o prensada o también gravada e impresa. Desde hace muchos años, el solicitante comercializa productos planos de plástico de este tipo con la marca Sympa-Nova ®.
Según la invención, el plástico espumado está densificado por la parte inferior en la proximidad de la superficie, de modo que en la cara inferior se obtiene una capa fina en forma de piel de densidad de material más elevada que en el interior del producto plano. El plástico espumado conserva en su interior la estructura obtenida en el proceso de espumado y con ello su flexibilidad elástica y amortiguadora. Por otra parte, el coeficiente de rozamiento de la cara inferior densificada solamente cerca de la superficie es mayor que el coeficiente de rozamiento de la piel obtenida con un simple enfriamiento después del espumado.
Aunque solo con la densificación ya se obtiene un mayor coeficiente de rozamiento y con ello unas mejores propiedades antideslizantes, la cara inferior está provista de un grabado. Durante el proceso de grabado tiene lugar también la densificación. Mediante el grabado se obtienen en la cara inferior elevaciones y zonas retrasadas respecto de aquellas, gracias a lo cual se aumenta la adherencia de la cara inferior sobre suelos secos y también sobre suelos húmedos. El grabado comprende una multitud de elevaciones que preferentemente están distribuidas uniformemente sobre toda la cara inferior. Por cada centímetro cuadrado deben formarse varias elevaciones. Con el fin de mejorar la adherencia, especialmente en lugares húmedos, las zonas retrasadas no deben estar cerradas por elevaciones. Por el contrario las zonas retrasadas deben estar comunicadas entre sí rodeando las elevaciones, de modo que el agua pueda ser expulsada en cualquier lugar en todas las zonas planas de la cara inferior dentro del gravado y no pueda acumularse.
Es una ventaja, especialmente para el uso en lugares húmedos, que el producto plano tenga según la reivindicación 2, una multiplicidad de discontinuidades, y que entre una discontinuidad y otra discontinuidad vecina se extienda sin interrupción por lo menos una zona plana retrasada. Con ello el agua puede ser expulsada desde cualquier parte hacia por lo menos una discontinuidad especialmente cuando una persona camina sobre el producto plano utilizado como recubrimiento de suelos.
En realizaciones alternativas según la reivindicación 1, el producto plano de plástico tiene listones que se extienden separados entre sí unos junto a otros, que forman la cara inferior o una parte de la cara inferior, y varillas perpendiculares a los listones que se extienden separadas entre sí unas junto a otras, y discontinuidades que quedan entre los listones y las varillas. Los listones pueden en particular extenderse paralelos entre sí. Lo mismo se aplica ventajosamente a las varillas. Ventajosamente, los listones y las varillas solos ya forman el producto plano. Pueden considerarse como una estructura o disposición de primer orden y el grabado de la cara inferior puede considerarse como una estructura o disposición de segundo orden. Ventajosamente, en la cara superior y/o en la cara inferior, los listones sobresalen por encima de las varillas, de modo que el peso de una persona que camina o se encuentra sobre el producto plano, o el de un objeto colocado sobre éste, es soportado por lo menos esencialmente por los listones. Los listones deben tener un ancho de por lo menos 4 mm y no mayor de 15 mm, y a lo largo del ancho de los listones deben estar formadas varias elevaciones.
Las elevaciones pueden sobresalir por encima de las zonas retrasadas aproximadamente una décima de milímetro o en su caso unas pocas décimas de milímetro. Esto basta por una parte para la mejora de la adherencia y del efecto de drenaje y no cambia de modo apreciable la percepción de la pisada en comparación con un producto plano no grabado en la cara inferior.
La porción plana de las elevaciones medida respecto a la superficie total debe ser por lo menos el 30% y como máximo 70%, formando la superficie de referencia de la superficie provista con el grabado en una vista en planta perpendicular al producto plano de plástico.
La invención se refiere además a un procedimiento para la fabricación de un producto plano de plástico según la reivindicación 1. En el procedimiento se recubre un inserto textil con un plastisol. A continuación se espuma el plastisol. El inserto textil es un tejido o un producto de género de punto, cuyos hilos están dispuestos de modo que como producto intermedio se obtiene un producto plano de plástico espumado con listones que se extienden separados entre sí unos junto a otros y cuyas caras inferiores y superiores están abombadas hacia afuera, y varillas que unen los listones. La cara superior de los listones se grava o imprime o bien se grava e imprime. Según la invención, la cara inferior de los listones se densifica en la proximidad de la superficie y se reduce el abombado de los listones. La densificación se obtiene mediante grabado. Con el proceso de densificación o de grabado la cara inferior puede decirse que se aplana.
Como plastisoles se consideran en particular plastisoles termoplásticos, por ejemplo PVC y acrilatos. Como producto de género de punto para el inserto se prefieren tejidos. El inserto textil puede ser por ejemplo de poliester.
El producto plano de plástico puede estar configurado y/o estar fabricado en lo que concierne a la densificación de la cara inferior, según el documento DE 24 14 862 A1. A este respecto, las enseñanzas del documento DE 24 14 862 A1 se toman como referencia.
Las características preferidas se dan a conocer en las subreivindicaciones y en sus combinaciones.
A continuación se presenta con la ayuda de figuras un ejemplo de realización de la invención. Las características que se dan a conocer en el ejemplo de realización así como en las realizaciones descritas anteriormente, forman los objetos de las reivindicaciones cada una por separado y en cualquier combinación. Las figuras muestran:

La Fig. 1 muestra un producto plano de plástico 1 de un plástico espumado 3 y un inserto de refuerzo 2 embutido en el plástico espumado 3. El plástico espumado puede ser en particular espuma de PVC o espuma de acrilato. El plástico espumado 3 envuelve el inserto 2 y forma listones 4 que se extienden separados entre sí y paralelos así como varillas transversales 5 que unen los listones 4, las cuales se extienden separadas entre sí, paralelas y perpendiculares a los listones 4. Entre cada dos listones 4 vecinos y cada dos varillas 5 vecinas queda una discontinuidad 6. La cara superior de los listones 4 tiene un gravado 7. En la Fig. 1 se muestra el gravado 7 de la cara superior solamente en dos listones 4. Del mismo modo el resto de listones 4 tiene el gravado 7 en toda la cara superior del producto plano 1. Además la cara superior puede estar impresa con un patrón o con un motivo gráfico. La cara inferior de los listones 4 está provista en toda la superficie inferior del producto plano 1 con otro gravado 8. Los listones 4 junto con las varillas 5 y las discontinuidades 6 forman la estructura primaria del producto plano 1, y el grabado 7 de la cara superior así como el gravado 8 de la cara inferior forman la estructura secundaria.
La Fig. 2 muestra el producto plano en una vista en planta de la cara superior.
La Fig. 3 muestra el inserto 2 en una vista en planta. El inserto 2 es un tejido de poliéster. Se reconocen los hilos de la urdimbre y de la trama. Los hilos de la trama están dispuestos en grupos de varios hilos que se extienden sobre todo el ancho de la banda de tejido en forma de bandas paralelas. Además, la separación entre los hilos de la trama es visiblemente menor que la distancia entre las bandas y también claramente menor que la distancia entre los hilos de la urdimbre.
Para la fabricación del producto plano 1 se aplica sobre el inserto 2 un plastisol termoplástico, por ejemplo PVC o acrilato. El plastisol penetra en el inserto 2. A continuación la banda recubierta pasa por un horno de gelificación en el que la temperatura es tal que el agente espumante añadido no se activa todavía pero el material polimérico gelifica con el plastificante. A continuación, la banda con el polímero pregelificado pasa a través de un horno de espumado en el que se activa el agente espumante en el plastisol y el recubrimiento de plástico gelificado se convierte en una banda de plástico espumado de un volumen ostensiblemente mucho mayor.
El proceso de espumado se interrumpe mediante el enfriado de la banda. En este momento el producto plano 1 tiene la estructura primaria como material en banda. En la etapa siguiente se forma el grabado 8 de la cara inferior en la cara inferior de la banda. A continuación se prensa la cara superior y finalmente recibe el grabado de la cara superior 7. El inserto 2 sirve no solo como refuerzo y en esta función hace de soporte para el plástico espumado sino que simultáneamente proporciona la forma de la estructura primaria. En la zona de las bandas de hilos de trama se forman los listones 4 y a lo largo de los hilos de urdimbre las varillas 5, envolviendo los listones 4 y las varillas 5 los hilos del tejido.
La Fig. 5 muestra un producto plano de plástico 1’ convencional en una vista en planta de su cara trasera en la figura superior y en una vista en sección en la figura inferior. Tal como puede verse en la vista en sección, los listones 4 que se abomban en sus caras superiores e inferiores por el proceso de espumado, están aplanados por la aplicación del gravado 7 de la cara superior, mientras que las caras inferiores sin tratamiento ulterior están abombadas hacia afuera. Además, los listones 4 tienen arrugas gruesas por la cara inferior.
La Fig. 4 muestra en una vista en planta sobre la cara posterior el producto plano 1 según la invención provisto del grabado 8 en la cara posterior y en una sección recta en la parte inferior de la figura. En la vista en sección se reconoce la densificación asociada al gravado en la cara inferior. Para formar el gravado 8 se enfría la banda después del espumado tal como se ha explicado anteriormente y con ello se interrumpe la formación de espuma. A continuación se calienta la banda por su cara inferior, a una temperatura entre 170 y 180 ºC en el caso de que el material espumado sea PVC, y se grava entre un cilindro de gravado y un cilindro opuesto. Para el gravado, no se calienta la banda uniformemente en todo su espesor, sino que solo se calienta por su cara inferior hasta una profundidad que corresponde a una fracción del espesor de banda antes de la densificación, por ejemplo entre una quinta y una décima parte, preferentemente hasta dos milímetros de profundidad y se grava en este estado parcialmente caliente solo en la zona próxima a la superficie, que tiene la temperatura requerida para la densificación. Por el contrario, la parte restante del material espumado mantiene su estructura espumosa del proceso de espumado. En el caso de que el calentamiento y la densificación comprendan un espesor de máximo 1 ó 2 mm, la piel obtenida en la cara inferior después de la densificación tiene un espesor de preferentemente una décima como máximo y en todo caso menos de una décima de milímetro. Si un producto plano 1 convencional con solo un grabado en la cara superior 8’ (Fig. 5) tuviera por ejemplo un espesor de 6 mm, entonces el producto plano 1 según la invención, provisto con el grabado en la cara inferior 8, que por lo demás sería igual, tendría un espesor de por ejemplo solo 5 mm.
Fundamentalmente, para mejorar la adherencia respecto de los productos planos convencionales 1’, especialmente para aplicaciones en zonas secas, por ejemplo sobre suelos bastaría la densificación únicamente de la zona próxima a la cara inferior del producto plano 1. En el procedimiento descrito anteriormente, para obtener una configuración de este tipo bastaría sustituir el rodillo de grabado para el grabado de la cara inferior por un rodillo liso.
Sin embargo el producto plano 1 del ejemplo de realización está provisto en su cara inferior con un grabado 8, gracias al cual se mejora la adherencia en zonas secas y además el drenaje en zonas húmedas. En comparación con la cara inferior groseramente arrugada que resulta de forma natural en el proceso de espumado, el grabado 8 forma una estructura fina como la que está representada por ejemplo en la Fig. 4. Ésta se encuentra distribuida uniformemente por la cara inferior del producto plano 1, como un patrón regular de elevaciones 9 y zonas 10 retrasadas respecto de aquellas. Las elevaciones 9 sobresalen como puntas cortas o como pequeños botones respecto de las zonas retrasadas 10. En comparación con la superficie agrietada de una cara inferior no grabada, las zonas retrasadas 10 forman superficie de base aproximadamente plana. Las elevaciones 9 son iguales entre sí. En la dirección longitudinal de los listones 4, las elevaciones 9 están dispuestas en filas paralelas unas junto a otras, teniendo las filas contiguas un desplazamiento una respecto de otra de modo que se forman filas diagonales en dirección oblicua respecto de los listones 4.
Las zonas retrasadas 10 están unidas entre sí de modo que forman una única superficie retrasada conjunta. En las elevaciones 9 no se forman otras zonas retrasadas. Las zonas retrasadas 10, es decir la superficie retrasada conjunta se extiende hasta cada una de las discontinuidades 6. Las elevaciones 9 tienen una superficie plana tan pequeña que en el ancho de cada listón 4 se pueden configurar varias elevaciones 9 contiguas. En caso de uso en zonas húmedas es imposible que se acumule agua estancada debajo de los listones 4, puesto que cuando sobre el producto plano 1 se aplica una presión desde arriba, el agua es expulsada hacia los dos lados de las zonas retrasadas 10 y hasta las discontinuidades 6. El efecto de drenaje del gravado 8 de la cara inferior queda reforzado adicionalmente por el desplazamiento de las filas longitudinales de las elevaciones 9, pues gracias al desplazamiento entre las elevaciones 9 se forman canales rectos diagonales que se extienden desde todas las áreas de la cara inferior hasta la discontinuidad 6 más próxima o hasta la siguiente. La finura del grabado 8 de la cara inferior y la geometría de las elevaciones 9 y de las zonas retrasadas 10 tienen como consecuencia en combinación con las discontinuidades 6, un efecto de drenaje especialmente bueno.

- Producto plano de plástico (1) con por lo menos un inserto textil (2) y un plástico espumado (3) envolviendo el inserto (2), el cual en la cara superior del producto plano (1) está gravado y/o impreso y en la cara inferior del producto plano (1) está densificado y provisto de un gravado (8) que consiste en elevaciones (9) y zonas planas retrasadas (10), caracterizado porque las zonas retrasadas (10) rodean las elevaciones (9) y el producto plano (1) tiene discontinuidades (6), y entre una discontinuidad (6) y una discontinuidad (6) vecina se extiende por lo menos una zona retrasada (10) continua con el fin de mejorar el efecto de drenaje.

- Producto plano según la reivindicación 1 ó la 2, caracterizado porque el grabado inferior (8) tiene varias elevaciones (9) por centímetro cuadrado

- Producto plano según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizado porque las elevaciones (9) están dispuestas ordenadas por filas unas junto a otras y las filas están desplazadas una respecto de otra.

- Producto plano según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizado porque el grabado de la cara inferior
(8) es o comprende un patrón de elevaciones en forma de botón. -

- Producto plano según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizado porque el producto plano (1) se aplica como recubrimiento de suelos.

- Procedimiento para la fabricación de un producto plano de plástico (1) según la reivindicación 1, en el que:
a) se aplica un plastisol sobre un substrato textil (2) y se espuma el plastisol, de modo que se obtienen listones (4) de plástico espumado (3) que se extienden separados entre sí unos junto a otros y cuyas caras inferiores y superiores están abombadas hacia afuera, y varillas transversales (5) de plástico espumado que unen los listones (4), b) se grava y/o imprime la cara superior de los listones (4), c) y se densifica la cara inferior de los listones (4) en la proximidad de la superficie reduciéndose el abombado y se les aplica un grabado (8).
