Abstract
Un producto de empaquetado de banda con múltiples burbujas, de amortiguación, conformable, inflable construido para interposición entre y en acoplamiento tanto con las superficies interiores de un contenedor de transporte como con las superficies exteriores de uno o más objetos empaquetados dentro del contenedor de transporte y construido también, cuando está inflado, para reducir o eliminar la transferencia de cargas de impacto desde el contenedor de transporte a los objetos empaquetados dentro del contenedor de transporte, comprendiendo dicho producto de empaquetado: una primera lámina de material de película, una segunda lámina de material de película, teniendo dichas láminas longitudes substancialmente iguales y anchuras substancialmente iguales, estando unidas juntas dichas láminas como una cinta en un patrón de líneas de sellado.
Claims (8)
1. Un producto de empaquetado de banda con
múltiples burbujas, de amortiguación, conformable, inflable
construido para interposición entre y en acoplamiento tanto con las
superficies interiores de un contenedor de transporte como con las
superficies exteriores de uno o más objetos empaquetados dentro del
contenedor de transporte y construido también, cuando está inflado,
para reducir o eliminar la transferencia de cargas de impacto desde
el contenedor de transporte a los objetos empaquetados dentro del
contenedor de transporte, comprendiendo dicho producto de
empaquetado:
una primera lámina de material de película,
una segunda lámina de material de película,
teniendo dichas láminas longitudes
substancialmente iguales y anchuras substancialmente iguales,
estando unidas juntas dichas láminas como una
cinta en un patrón de líneas de sellado,
formando dichas líneas de sellado un canal de
inflado que se extiende linealmente a lo largo de la longitud de las
láminas para recibir el aire presurizado desde un extremo de salida
de un tubo de inflado dispuesto dentro del canal de inflado en una
estación de inflado a medida que las láminas son transportadas
pasada la estación de sellado en el proceso de inflado y las bandas
de sellado de estructuras de amortiguación de múltiples burbujas en
el producto de empaquetado,
formando también dicho patrón de líneas de
sellado una pluralidad de bandas inflables individuales de
estructuras de amortiguación de múltiples burbujas que se extienden
lateralmente desde dicho canal de inflado,
teniendo cada banda inflable individual una
pluralidad de cámaras de burbujas con cada cámara de burbujas
interconectada a una cámara de burbujas adyacente por un paso de
interconexión que es de tamaño y volumen interno más pequeño que las
cámaras de burbujas, pero que es suficientemente grande para
permitir que el volumen del aire y la presión en una cámara de
burbujas inflada sean transmitidos a las cámaras de burbujas
adyacentes para distribuir una carga de impacto sobre una cámara de
burbujas a lo largo de toda la longitud de la banda inflable
individual de las cámaras de burbujas interconectadas,
cada banda inflable individual de estructuras de
amortiguación de múltiples burbujas que tiene un orificio de entrada
que conecta la primera cámara de burbujas en la banda al canal de
inflado para recibir el aire presurizado en la estación de inflado
para inflar todas las cámaras de burbujas en la banda
inflable
individual,

estando configurado dicho orificio de entrada
para permitir que el orificio de entrada sea sellado por una junta

entre dos líneas de sellado periféricas espaciadas que se extienden
lateralmente que tienen una configuración de ondulación libre de
configuraciones en esquina o flexiones bruscas que podrían
concentrar tensiones.
2. La invención definida en la reivindicación 1,
donde dichas líneas de sellado periféricas tienen una configuración
generalmente sinusoidal como se observa por encima de las
láminas.
3. La invención definida en la reivindicación 1,
donde las cámaras de burbujas en una banda inflable individual son
desviadas lateralmente con respecto a las cámaras de burbujas en una
banda inflable individual inmediatamente adyacente, de manera que
una cámara de burbujas en una banda inflable está opuesta a un paso
de interconexión en una banda inflable inmediatamente adyacente.
4. La invención definida en la reivindicación 3,
donde una línea de sellado periférica en un lado de una primera
banda inflable individual es también una línea de sellado periférica
para una segunda banda inflable individual inmediatamente adyacente
a dicho lado de la primera banda inflable individual.
5. La invención definida en la reivindicación 1,
donde las cámaras de burbujas son suficientemente grandes, de manera
que solamente una capa individual del producto de empaquetado
inflable puede proporcionar la amortiguación necesaria para muchos
objetos.
6. La invención definida en la reivindicación 5,
donde la altura de una cámara de burbujas cuando se infla es
substancialmente de 1 pulgada y ½.
7. La invención definida en la reivindicación 1,
donde el canal de inflado se extiende a lo largo de un borde lateral
de la cinta y cada banda inflable individual se extiende a través de
substancialmente toda la anchura de la cinta.
8. La invención definida en la reivindicación 1,
donde el canal de inflado se extiende a lo largo de una porción
central de la cinta y las bandas inflables individuales se extienden
lateralmente hacia fuera desde el canal de inflado central hacia los
