Abstract

Procedimiento de tipo exploratorio para la determinación cuantitativa de cocaína y otros alcaloides presentes en una muestra sólida, que incluye las etapas siguientes: a) preparación de una muestra sólida en forma finamente dividida o en polvos; b) selección de un reactivo líquido que proporcione una concentración constante de grupos hidroxil adecuada para extraer y transformar la cocaína en benzoilecgonina y para extraer otras sustancias similares; c) extracción de la cocaína y otras sustancias similares contenidas en la muestra y transformación de la cocaína extraída en benzoilecgonina mediante el mantenimiento de la muestra completamente sumergida en dicho reactivo líquido a una temperatura comprendida en el intervalo de 10ºC a 250ºC durante un periodo de tiempo comprendido entre unos cuantos segundos y 48 horas; y d) análisis del líquido separado de la muestra sólida para determinar la concentración de benzoilecgonina contenida en dicho líquido con respecto al límite de corte mediante la utilización de un kit convencional de exploración para la determinación de benzoilecgonina en orina.
