Abstract

La invención se refiere a una aleación a base de cobalto que tiene resistencia mecánica a alta temperatura, en particular en un ambiente oxidante o corrosivo, que comprende esencialmente los siguientes elementos (las proporciones mencionadas se expresan en porcentaje en peso de la aleación): 26 a 34% de Cr; 6 a 12% de Ni; 4 a 8% de W; 2 a 4% de Ta; 0,2 a 0,5% de C; menos del 3% de Fe; menos del 1% de Si; menos del 0,5% de Mn; menos del 0,1% de Zr; el resto es cobalto e impurezas inevitables; la relación molar de tantalio a carbono es del orden de 0,4 a 1. La invención se aplicable a artículos sometidos mecánicamente a tensión a alta temperatura, en particular artículos usados para la preparación y transformación por calor del vidrio.
