Un aparato de transmisión de señal (1) incluyendo: - un modulador (4) para asignar una señal de entrada para producir una señal modulada, - medios de Transformada de Fourier Rápida inversa (IFFT) (40) para convertir la señal modulada en una señal convertida IFFT que tiene una parte de símbolo efectiva (796) y un intervalo de protección (797), según Multiplexión por División de Frecuencia Ortogonal, y - un transmisor (5) para transmitir la señal convertida IFFT, conteniendo dicha señal de entrada un primer flujo de datos, incluyendo g valores de configuraciones de bits, y un segundo flujo de datos, donde g es un número entero, y teniendo la señal modulada símbolos, cada uno de los cuales representa uno de m puntos de señal en un diagrama de espacio vectorial, donde m es un número entero, seleccionándose dicho intervalo de protección de manera que tenga un período de tiempo predeterminado, incluyendo además dicho modulador medios (61) para dividir dichos m puntos de señal en g grupos de puntos de señal, asignar los g valores del primer flujo de datos a los g grupos de puntos de señal respectivamente, asignar datos del segundo flujo de datos a puntos de señal de cada uno de los g grupos de puntos de señal, y seleccionar los puntos de señal en el diagrama de espacio vectorial según dicha señal de entrada, de manera que: dichos m puntos de señal se puedan distinguir uno de otro en el diagrama de espacio vectorial por medio de un primer conjunto de umbrales que divide el diagrama de espacio vectorial en m regiones, y los g grupos de puntos de señal se pueden distinguir uno de otro en el diagrama de espacio vectorial por medio de un segundo conjunto de umbrales que divide el diagrama de espacio vectorial más bastamente que el primer conjunto de umbrales en g regiones, se asignan puntos de señal en cada uno de dichos grupos de puntos de señal en el diagrama de espacio vectorial a intervalos iguales a lo largo de los ejes I y Q del diagrama de espacio vectorial, una distancia en eldiagrama de espacio vectorial entre cualesquiera dos puntos de señal más próximos de cualesquiera dos grupos de puntos de señal adyacentes es 25 x n, donde n es un valor de desplazamiento que es más de 1, y 25 es la distancia en el diagrama de espacio vectorial entre los dos puntos de señal más próximos de cualesquiera dos grupos de puntos de señal adyacentes cuando los m puntos de señal se asignan en el diagrama de espacio vectorial a intervalos iguales a lo largo de los ejes I y Q del diagrama de espacio vectorial, e incluyendo además dicho aparato de transmisión de señal (1) medios para transmitir datos para demodulación, incluyendo dichos datos para demodulación el valor de m.
