Abstract

Aparato de soldadura para soldar tramos de tuberías (2) entre sí para la formación de una tubería subacuática (1), estando el aparato de soldadura adaptado para soldar entre sí tramos de tubería (2) cuando los mismos están en una posición generalmente vertical con el extremo inferior de un tramo de tubería superior (2) en contacto con la parte superior de un tramo de tubería inferior que define el final de la tubería (1), incluyendo el aparato de soldadura: una pluralidad de cabezales de soldadura (12), y un conjunto de guiado de los cabezales de soldadura previsto para fijación alrededor de un tramo de tubería, incluyendo el conjunto de guiado una pista de guía (14) para el movimiento guiado de cada uno de los cabezales de soldadura (12) alrededor del tramo de tubería (2), en el que el aparato comprende además un soporte giratorio del equipo montado para rotación alrededor de un eje generalmente vertical (8) y que tiene una abertura central a través de la cual pueden pasar los tramos de tubería (2) cuando se tiende una tubería, estando la pluralidad de cabezales de soldadura (12) distribuidos angularmente alrededor del soporte giratorio del equipo y en el que cada uno de los cabezales de la pluralidad de cabezales de soldadura (12) está asociado a un respectivo sector del soporte giratorio del equipo, y el respectivo sector del soporte giratorio del equipo es capaz de rotar alrededor del tramo de tubería (2) cuando el cabezal de soldadura (12) asociado rota alrededor del tramo de tubería (2).
