Abstract

Procedimiento para la fabricación de un cuerpo de panal de abejas envuelto, especialmente de un cuerpo de soporte de catalizador, con las siguientes etapas: a) configuración de un cuerpo de panal de abejas (6, 32) a través de apilamiento y/o arrollamiento de capas de chapas (7), al menos una parte de las cuales son capas de chapas estructuradas, de manera que el cuerpo de panal de abejas presenta canales (8, 42) a través de los cuales puede circular un fluido; b) introducción de un manguito (2) en un tubo envolvente (1, 31), donde el manguito (2) presenta una extensión axial, que es menor que la longitud axial del cuerpo de panal de abejas (6, 32) y del tubo envolvente (1, 31) y presenta una envoltura exterior (9), que se apoya esencialmente en una parte de la pared interior (10) del tubo envolvente (1, 31); c) introducción del cuerpo de panal de abejas (6, 32) en el tubo envolvente (1, 31) y en el manguito (2); d) configuración de una conexión entre el cuerpo de panal de abejas (6, 32) y el tubo envolvente (1, 31) en una sección soldada (3b) así como de una conexión entre el cuerpo de panal de abejas (6, 32) y el manguito en una sección (3a).
