Abstract
Nuevo horno de colada para moldeo, de los que constan de una tobera de carga que entronca con una cuba de almacenamiento de metal líquido y de la que parte una tobera de salida que desemboca en la piquera de alimentación de los moldes, y en el que entre la cuba de almacenamiento de metal líquido y la piquera de alimentación de los moldes se dispone una cámara adicional de calentamiento por medio de una antorcha de plasma térmico y entre la cámara adicional de calentamiento y la piquera de alimentación de los moldes, de una pared de retención sumergida al menos parcialmente en el metal líquido. De aplicación en la fundición metalúrgica.
