EN EL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DEL GAS QUE SE FORMA EN EL REACTOR DE CLORO, A PARTIR DE CLORO, CLORURO DE HIDROGENO, OXIGENO Y VAPOR DE AGUA, PRIMERAMENTE SE ENFRIA DE TAL MANERA EL GAS QUE SALE DEL REACTOR 1, QUE EL AGUA DE LA REACCION Y EL CLORURO D EHIDROGENO SE CONDENSAN EN ACIDO CLORHIDRICO. EL ACIDO CLORHIDRICO CONCENTRADO SE SEPARA DEL GAS EN UNA COLUMNA DE SEPARACION DE FASES 3 Y SE EXTRAE. EL GAS RESTANTE, QUE SE HA LIBERADO ESENCIALMENTE DE AGUA Y UNA PARTE DE CLORURO DE HIDROGENO, SE SECA A CONTINUACION EN UNA TORRE DE SECADO 6. EL GAS SECADO, QUE LLEVA CLORO, OXIGENO Y CLORURO DE HIDROGENO SE COMPRIME EN UN COMPRESOR 7 DE 1 A 30 BAR. EL GAS COMPRIMIDO SE LLEVA A UN RECUPERADOR DE CLORO REFRIGERADO 8, EN DONDE SE LICUA EL CLORO EN SU MAYOR PARTE. FINALMENTE SE RECICLAN LOS COMPONENTES DE GAS NO CONDENSADOS EN EL RECUPERADOR DE CLORO 8, POR LO MENOS PARCIALMENTE, AL REACTOR 1.
