EL ESPEJO CORRECTOR ES UN ESPEJO NO ENERGIZADO QUE TIENE UNA SUPERFICIE NOMINALMENTE PLANA PERO ASFERICA DE ORDEN SUPERIOR. SI SE COLOCA EL ESPEJO CORRECTOR ENTRE LA PORCION DE OBJETIVO Y UNA IMAGEN INTERMEDIA FORMADA POR LA PORCION DE OBJETIVO, SE PUEDE AUMENTAR SIGNIFICATIVAMENTE EL DESCENTRAMIENTO DEL CAMPO DE LA LENTE ANASTIGMATICA.
