EN UN SISTEMA DE REGULACION DE TEMPERATURA DE MEDIO REFRIGERANTE PARA LA INSTALACION DE REFRIGERACION DE UN MOTOR DE COMBUSTION INTERNA EN AUTOMOVILES CON UNA VALVULA TERMOSTATICA CALENTABLE ELECTRICAMENTE, CUYA FORMA DE OPERACION ES DESPLAZABLE POR MEDIO DE CORRIENTE ELECTRICA EN LA DIRECCION DE ACCIONAMIENTO DE REFRIGERACION, SE HAN PREVISTO MEDIOS PARA RECONOCIMIENTO DE UN DEFECTO DE INSTALACION QUE REGULA ADEMAS EL FLUJO DE CIRCULACION DEL MEDIO DE REFRIGERACION EN EL AUTOMOVIL. EN CASO DE DEFECTO RECONOCIDO DE ESTA INSTALACION SE REALIZA UN RECORRIDO DE CORRIENTE DE LA VALVULA TERMOSTATICA. SE REALIZA ESPECIALMENTE EN CASO DE DEFECTO CONOCIDO LA CIRCULACION DE LA VALVULA TERMOSTATICA DE TAL MODO, QUE LA TEMPERATURA DEL MEDIO REFRIGERANTE SE ENCUENTRA POR DEBAJO DE UN UMBRAL DE TEMPERATURA DE MEDIO REFRIGERANTE PREVIAMENTE DADO. CON PREFERENCIA SE REALIZA EL RECONOCIMIENTO DE UN DEFECTO POR MEDIO DE SUPERVISION DE PLAUSIBILIDAD A PARTIR DE SEÑALES DE SALIDA DE LA INSTALACION.
