LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A ROTORES INDUCIDOS, DE LOS EMPLEADOS EN LOS RALENTIZADORES ELECTROMAGNETICOS PARA VEHICULOS AUTOPROPULSADOS, BANCOS DE ENSAYO DE POTENCIA DE MOTORES DE EXPLOSION Y OTRAS APLICACIONES, QUE ESTAN CONSTRUIDOS MEDIANTE EL EMPLEO DE FUNDICIONES DE TIPO NODULAR, CON MATRIZ ESENCIALMENTE FERRITICA, CON UN CONTENIDO EN CARBONO COMPRENDIDO ENTRE 2,5% Y 4% EN PESO RESPECTO DEL PESO TOTAL DE LA FUNDICION. LA UTILIZACION DE DICHOS MATERIALES EN LUGAR DE LOS HABITUALMENTE EMPLEADOS PERMITE CONSTRUIR ROTORES CON DISEÑOS DE PAREDES MAS DELGADAS Y POR TANTO MENOS PESADOS QUE, CONSERVANDO EXCELENTES PROPIEDADES DE PERMEABILIDAD MAGNETICA, MANIFIESTAN UNA RESISTENCIA A LA FATIGA TERMICA SUPERIOR A LA DE LOS ROTORES CONSTRUIDOS CON MATERIALES CONVENCIONALES.
