1500766 S G iron GEOTZEWERKE FRIEDRICH GOETZE AG 13 June 1975 [14 June 1974] 25419/75 Heading C7A A wear resistant spheroidal graphite cast iron alloy of compostion The S.G. iron may be produced by innoculating a melt with ferrosilicon and magnesium, may be subsequently heat-treated by annealing above 700‹C, air quenching and tempering at 200 to 700‹C and may be used in piston rings for internal combustion engines.
