Abstract

1426362 Iron alloy compositions GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 11 May 1973 [11 May 1972] 22625/73 Heading C7A An oxidation resistant ferrous alloy consisting, by weight of.- the balance apart from impurities, being iron, is modified by the addition of 0.25 to 1.5% cobalt. The resulting alloy has improved tensile strength and, possibly, improved oxidation resistance at temperatures of 2000‹-2200‹F, making it particularly suited for use in exhaust reactors of I.C. engines.
