843,582. Casting composite carburetters. SOC. INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES S.I.B.E. Oct. 14, 1958 [Dec. 24, 1957], No. 32790/58. Class 83 (1). [Also in Group XXVII] In a carburetter (see also Group XXVII), comprising a passage 8 for the circulation of a fluid heated by the engine, the passage is formed in at least one part 9, which is incorporated in the walls of the intake-pipe at the time when the walls are cast. The walls of the intake-pipe may be made of an alloy having a very high content of zinc and a low content of aluminium and copper, and the part 9 may be made of a copper-alloy such as brass, or of a non-rusting steel. The carburetter body may be made of material sold under the Registered Trade Mark " Zamak."
