SE DESCRIBE UN CATALIZADOR DE ACIDO FOSFORICO CRISTALINO SOLIDO QUE CONTIENE CRISTALITAS TANTO DE ORTOFOSFATO DE SILICIO COMO DE PIROFOSFATO DE SILICIO Y CON UNA INTENSIDAD TOTAL DE RAYOS X DE UN 30 POR CIENTO COMO MINIMO EN RELACION CON ALFA-ALUMINA. EL CATALIZADOR DE ACIDO FOSFORICO CRISTALINO SOLIDO SE PRODUCE CRISTALIZANDO UNA MEZCLA AMORFA DE UN OXIDO ACIDO DE FOSFORO Y UN MATERIAL SILICEO A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 250 450 DE AGUA BASADOS EN EL INDICE TOTAL DE VAPOR PARA LA ETAPA DE CRISTALIZACION. EL CATALIZADOR ES ESPECIALMENTE UTIL PARA EXTENDER LA DURACION DE UNA REACCION DE CONVERSION DE HIDROCARBURO DE TAL FORMA QUE SE HACE NECESARIA LA POLIMERIZACION DE LA OLEFINA ANTES DEL REEMPLAZO O REGENERACION DEL CATALIZADOR.
