PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE BISULFURO DE DIALQUILO DE 1 A 12 ATOMOS DE CARBONO, QUE CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UN ALCOHOL CON 1 A 12 ATOMOS DE CARBONO Y SULFURO DE HIDROGENO, EN UNA RELACION MOLAR DE 1:2 A 1:20, CON UN CATALIZADOR SOLIDO EN LA FORMA DE PARTICULAS, QUE CONTIENE ALUMINIO EN UNA PRIMERA ZONA DE REACCION A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 100 Y 500°C, HACER PASAR AL MERCAPTANO CRUDO PRODUCIDO EN LA REACCION Y AZUFRE FUNDIDO, EN UNA RELACION MOLAR DE 1:0,05 A 1:2, EN CONTACTO CON UN CATALIZADOR SOLIDO A UNA SEGUNDA ZONA DE REACCION, A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 125°C Y 400°C, Y RECUPERAR AL BISULFURO DE DIALQUILO FORMADO.
