LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO PARA LA DESLIGNIFICACION O BLANQUEADO DE PULPA QUIMICAMENTE DIGERIDA QUE CONTENGA LIGNOCELULOSA, EN EL QUE LA PULPA SE TRATA CON UN AGENTE COMPLEJANTE A UN PH DE ENTRE 3.1 Y 9.0, DESPUES DE LO CUAL LA PULPA SE BLANQUEA CON OZONO. EL TRATAMIENTO INICIAL CON EL AGENTE COMPLEJANTE SEPARA LOS IONES DE CIERTOS METALES PERJUDICIALES PARA EL SUBSECUENTE BLANQUEADO CON OZONO, MIENTRAS DEJA EN LA PULPA LOS IONES ADECUADOS, PRIMARIAMENTE DE METALES DE TIERRA ALCALINA. MEDIANTE EL PROCESO SE INCREMENTA LA SELECTIVIDAD EN LA DESLIGNIFICACION Y SE MANTIENE LA FUERZA DE LA PULPA. LA PULPA PUEDE BLANQUEARSE CON PEROXIDO DESPUES DEL PASO DEL USO DEL OZONO Y / O DESPUES DEL TRATAMIENTO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION, PARA OBTENER UNA BLANCURA FINAL ADECUADA Y EVITAR COMPLETAMENTE LA FORMACION Y DESCARGA DE COMPUESTOS ORGANICOS CLORADOS.
