UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA REDUCCION DE LA EMISION DE NOX EN LA TRANSFORMACION TERMICA (COMBUSTION) DE COMBUSTIBLES QUE CONTIENEN NITROGENO O EN LA REDUCCION DE GASES DE ESCAPE O VAPORES QUE CONTIENEN OXIDO DE NITROGENO PREVE UNA REACCION ESCALONADA, EN DONDE EN UN PRIMER ESCALON SE REALIZA UNA REDUCCION DE TODOS LOS COMPONENTES DE NOX EXISTENTES O FORMANTES EN UNA RELACION INFRAESTEQUIOMETRICA DE COMBUSTIBLE/OXIGENO Y EN EL SIGUIENTE SEGUNDO ESCALON O EN LOS SIGUIENTES ESCALONES SE REALIZA UNA REACCION POSTERIOR HASTA LA REDUCCION COMPLETA DE TODOS LOS COMPONENTES DE REACCION OXIDABLES. PARA ACELERAR LA REACCION SE PROPONE QUE AL MENOS EN UNO DE LOS ESCALONES DE REACCION SE ACTIVEN ADICIONALMENTE LOS REACTANTES MEDIANTE REGENERADORES DE LA ACTIVACION, QUE MEZCLEN ESTATICAMENTE ENTRE SI LOS REACTANTES Y CONTRIBUYAN A LA COMPENSACION DEL FLUJO DE CALOR. PARA REALIZAR EL PROCEDIMIENTO HAY PREVISTO UN HORNO QUE EN SU INTERIOR PRESENTA UNA PARED REGENERADORA CON ORIFICIOS DE PASO.
