UN METODO TAL INCLUYE UN PASO QUE CONSISTE EN LA REGENERACION DEL CATALIZADOR USADO PARA VOLVERLO A UTILIZAR EN CICLOS DE REACCIONES SUCESIVOS. EL METODO DE REGENERACION ESTA COMPRENDIDO EN EL TRATAMIENTO DEL CATALIZADOR USADO CON ACIDO FORMICO DE REFLUJO, FILTRANDOLO Y BATIENDOLO DE NUEVO CON AGUA DESMINERALIZADA Y NAOH HASTA QUE LAS AGUAS DE LAVADO ALCANCEN UNA VALOR LIGERAMENTE ALCALINO. EL CATALIZADOR REGENERADO SE PUEDE VOLVER A USAR EN CICLOS DE REACCIONES SUCESIVOS MANTENIENDO UN RENDIMIENTO MEDIO DEL 87 %, ES DECIR, CON EL MISMO ORDEN DE MAGNITUD QUE TIENE CUANDO SE UTILIZA UN CATALIZADOR NUEVO
