CULTIVOS DENSOS DE MICROORGANISMOS PRODUCTORES DE CELULOSA PUEDE SER PRODUCIDOS Y USADOS PARA VARIOS PROPOSITOS CON EL PROCESO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION. INICIALMENTE UN NUTRIENTE MEDIO ES PREPARADO, EL CUAL CONTIENE UNA PREPARACION DE CELULASA PARA EL MICROORGANISMO PRODUCTOR DE CELULOSA. EL NUTRIENTE MEDIO ES PUES INOCULADO CON EL MICROORGANISMO PRODUCTOR DE CELULOSA. EL MEDIO INOCULADO ES PUES INCUBADO BAJO CONDICIONES AEROBICAS PARA FACILITAR EL CRECIMIENTO DEL MICROORGANISMO Y LA PRODUCCION DE UN CULTIVO DE MICROORGANISMOS DENSO, LIBRE DE PELICULA DE CELULOSA. EL CULTIVO DENSO PUEDE USARSE COMO INOCULO DE UN GRAN VOLUMEN DE NUTRIENTE MEDIO APROPIADO O PUEDE SER COSECHADO Y LOS MICROORGANISMOS COSECHADOS USARSE POR EJEMPLO, COMO ADN O ENZIMAS. CUANDO UN GRAN VOLUMEN DE NUTRIENTE MEDIO ES INOCULADO, UNA SUBSECUENTE INCUBACION AEROBICA DEL MEDIO INOCULADO FACILITA LA PRODUCCION DE CELULOSA A GRAN ESCALA.
