ESCHERISCHIA COLI, QUE PORTA UN PLASMIDO HIBRIDO, QUE HA SIDO CONSTRUIDO POR INSERCION DE UN GEN EXTRAÑO DESEADO EN UN VECTOR DE EXPRESION, DE MANERA QUE PERMITE LA EXPRESION DE DICHO GEN EXTRAÑO EN EL, SE CULTIVA A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 40 (GRADOS) C O SUPERIOR, DE MODO QUE LA EXPRESION DE DICHO GEN EXTRAÑO SE DETIENE. ESTE E. COLI (POR EJEMPLO, TRANSFORMANTE) SE CULTIVA A 40 (GRADOS) C O MAS EN UN PRIMER PROCESO PARA DETENER LA EXPRESION DEL GEN EXTRAÑO Y MANTENER SUFICIENTE CRECIMIENTO CELULAR, Y DESPUES POR DEBAJO DE 40 (GRADOS) C EN UN SEGUNDO PROCESO PARA QUITAR LA SUPRESION DE LA EXPRESION, DE MODO QUE PERMITA LA PRODUCCION EFECTIVA DEL PRODUCTO CON GEN EXTRAÑO, LO QUE DA LUGAR A UNA ALTA CONCENTRACION DEL PRODUCTO CON GEN EXTRAÑO EN EL CULTIVO FINAL.
