PARA EL SECADO Y LA RECONDENSACION EN FASE SOLIDA (MALEABILIZACION) DE UN GRANULADO DE POLIAMIDA GUARDADO COMO SUSPENSION EN AGUA, ESTE SE SEPARA MEDIANTE UNA INSTALACION TAMIZADORA (1) DE LA CANTIDAD PRINCIPAL DEL AGUA Y SE CONDUCE A UN SECADOR DE POZO (10). ALLI SE FORMA UNA CAPA DE GRANULADO QUE SE EXPONE A UNA CORRIENTE DE TAPON Y UNA CONTRACORRIENTE DE GAS INERTE CON UNA TEMPERATURA DE 70 A 200 C QUE, EN CONJUNTO CON LA GRAVEDAD, QUITA EL RESTO DEL AGUA DEL GRANULADO. EL SECADOR DE POZO DISPONE DE UNA ABERTURA DE ADMISION (11), EN LA PARTE SUPERIOR, UNA ABERTURA DE SALIDA (34), EN LA PARTE INFERIOR, ASI COMO CANALES DE ALIMENTACION (20,22,31) PARA EL GAS INERTE. PARA OBTENER UN GRADO DE SECADO DEL GRANULADO MAS O MENOS CONSTANTE, LA CORRIENTE DE GAS INERTE SE DIVIDE EN LA ENTRADA ENTRE LA ZONA DE SECADO Y LA ZONA DE MALEABILIZACION, EN UNA CORRIENTE PARCIAL DIRIGIDA RADIALMENTE HACIA EL INTERIOR, A LA CAPA DE GRANULADO, Y OTRA CORRIENTE PARCIAL DIRIGIDA DE LA CAPA DE GRANULADO RADIALMENTE HACIA EL INTERIOR Y EL EXTERIOR. DE ESTA MANERA, EL GAS INERTE SE REPARTE DE MANERA MUY EQUILIBRADA, POR LO QUE SE OBTIENE UNA EFICIENCIA DEL SECADO DEL GRANULADO, EN UNA ZONA MUY CORTA DE SECADO, QUE DEJA UN CONTENIDO DE SOLO 0,0001KG DE AGUA POR KILOGRAMO DE POLIMERO. GRACIAS A LA FORMA CONICA DE LA PARTE INFERIOR DEL SECADOR DE POZO GUEN UNA VELOCIDAD DE INMERSION DEL GRANULADO CONSTANTE Y UNA CONDENSACION UNIFORME EN FASE SOLIDA CON UNA DISTRIBUCION PROPICIA DE LA MASA MOLECULAR DEL PRODUCTO. LA TEMPERATURA DE MALEABILIZACION PUEDE ALCANZAR EL PUNTO DE ABLANDAMIENTO DEL POLIMERO. ADEMAS DE ESO, PUEDE INTRODUCIRSE A TRAVES DEL CONO OTRA CORRIENTE DE GAS INERTE. DESPUES DE PASAR POR EL SECADOR DE POZO (10), EL GRANULADO SE CONDUCE A UN REFRIGERADOR DE LECHO FLUIDIZADO (41) DONDE SE REFRIGERA POR AIRE HASTA UNA TEMPERATURA DE MENOS DE 50 C.
