Abstract

Un método para preparar y esterilizar un envase farmacéutico que comprende un frasco del tipo estrujable semirrígido que contiene un producto líquido farmacéutico seleccionado, en el que dicho método se caracteriza por: a) el llenado del frasco con el producto farmacéutico seleccionado hasta el punto en que dicho frasco quede lleno en toda su capacidad a fn de eliminar cualquier aire residual que pueda quedar en el frasco o en su cello, en el que dicho frasco se forma con un material polimérico flexible capaz de soportar temperaturas de esterilización sin deformarse y sin que se produzcan, prácticamente, fugas de vapor a través de las paredes del mismo; b) la inserción de un adaptador de cánula del tipo tapón en el cuello del frasco al tiempo que se fuerza la salida del líquido excedente y se mantiene el frasco totalmente lleno, siendo dicho adaptador del tipo utilizado para conectar el envase farmacéutico a una cánula o cualquier otro aparato médico semejante; c) el cierre del frasco aportando una tapa para el mismo y estableciendo un sellado flexible entre la superficie interna de la pared superior de la tapa y el borde del frasco a fn de absorber las presiones desarrolladas por la expansión del frasco taponado, e impedir la deformación de la tapa y el frasco durante la esterilización subsiguiente, con lo que se eliminan las fugas entre ambos; d) la formación de un envase, introduciendo dicho frasco en un envase termoencogible individual de un material polimérico prescrito apropiado para usarlo en un procedimiento de esterilización y sellando dicho envase termoencogible a lo largo del lado abierto del mismo con una tapa de cierre formada por un material textil no tejido que tenga las características de ser permeable y capaz de soportar el procedimiento de esterilización y mantenerse sellado a dicho material polimérico durante dicho proceso; y e) la esterilización por calor de dicho envase.
