TAMBIEN SE PROPORCIONAN ALIMENTOS AMILACEOS PRESERVADOS DE LOS ACIDOS NEUTRALIZADOS LISTOS PARA COMER. PARA EQUILIBRAR EL PH SE UTILIZAN AGENTES DE NEUTRALIZACION ALCALINOS COMESTIBLES. TAMBIEN SE PROPORCIONAN METODOS PARA PRODUCIR ENVASES AUTOESTABLES PARA ALIMENTOS AMILACEOS TOTALMENTE COCIDOS, DONDE SE INTRODUCEN CANTIDADES MEDIDAS DE ACIDO EN LOS ALIMENTOS AMILACEOS TOTALMENTE COCIDOS PARA INHIBIR EL CRECIMIENTO MICROBIANO.
