Abstract
Método de inyección de gas en fundiciones a alta temperatura, a través de un conducto en la pared de un recipiente que contiene la fundición, teniendo este conducto inicialmente un tope desmontable que cierra su extremo interior, comprendiendo las etapas de: a) desde el exterior del depósito (10), insertar una tubería de introducción (24) en el conducto (18) y colocar un extremo interior de la tubería adyacente al tope (20), siendo la tubería más pequeña transversalmente que el conducto en una magnitud predeterminada; b) enfriar la tubería (24) y el conducto (18) en la proximidad del tope (20), introduciendo el gas a través de la tubería y empujando el gas hacia el exterior del recipiente (10); c) inmediatamente antes de inyectar el gas en la fundición, establecer la presión y el caudal del gas en la tubería (24) de suficiente magnitud para que, tras la inyección, la velocidad del gas que abandona la tubería sea lo bastante grande como para asegurar que el gas entra en la fundición como unchorro más que como burgujas; d) empujar con fuerza la tubería (24) hasta el tope (20), desbloqueando el tope dentro de la fundición y comenzando así la inyección del gas en la fundición; e) mantener sustancialmente sin disminuir la presión y el caudal del gas durante la inyección en curso; y f ) cuando la inyección se estime completa, reducir la presión/caudal del gas y permitir que la fundición entre y se solidifique en la tubería (24) cerrando ésta por consiguiente, proporcionando la magnitud en que la tubería (24) es más pequeña que el conducto (18) un espacio interior lo bastante grande como para que la fundición se introduzca una distancia limitada, antes de solidificarse, tan pronto como el tope es desmontado.
