LAS PARTICULAS QUE SE ADHIEREN A LAS SUPERFICIES INTERNAS DE UN OBJETO SON SEPARADAS POR EL MOVIMIENTO DE UNA ONDA DE CHOQUE A LO LARGO DE DICHAS SUPERFICIES. LA ONDA DE CHOQUE ES GENERADA POR LA EXPLOSION DE UN GAS EN UNA CAMARA SITUADA DENTRO DEL OBJETO. LA INVENCION TIENE APLICACION PARTICULAR EN LA LIMPIEZA DE EQUIPOS DE PROCESADO.
