Es werden ein Verfahren zum Ansaugen von Fasern aus einer Pulpe (210) unter Verwendung einer Ansaugeinrichtung (320) mit einem Ansaugwerkzeug (340) und eine Ansaugeinrichtung (320) zum Ansaugen von Fasern aus einer Pulpe (210) mit einem Ansaugwerkzeug (340) beschrieben, das eine Vielzahl an Kavitäten (350) zum Ansaugen von Fasern aufweist, wobei die Kavitäten (350) eine Oberfläche mit einer Vielzahl an Öffnungen aufweisen, die über Kanäle mit einer gemeinsamen Ansaugleitung verbunden sind, und wobei die Ansaugleistung während eines Ansaugvorgangs verändert wird.
