Abstract
L'invention concerne l'épuration des gaz d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne fonctionnant principalement avec un mélange de carburant stoechiométrique. Le système pour gaz d'échappement présente en particulier 4 fonctions d'épuration dans un ordre particulier. Un catalyseur à trois voies (TWC1) situé à proximité du moteur est suivi d'un filtre à particules d'essence (GPF) et d'un autre catalyseur à trois voies (TWC2) en aval de celui-ci. Le système possède en outre une fonction de stockage des oxydes d'azote.
