Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Lastbank (1) zur Umwandlung von elektrischer Energie in thermische Energie umfassend einen Abwärmebereich (10), einen im Abwärmebereich (10) angeordneten Ventilator (14), der geeignet ist einen Luftstrom auszubilden, mindestens ein im Abwärmebereich (10) angeordnetes Heizelement (13), das vom Luftstrom unter Abgabe von thermischer Energie anströmbar ist, und ein im Abwärmebereich (10) angeordneter und vom Luftstrom anströmbarer als Windfahnensensor (16) ausgeführter Luftstromsensor. Der Luftstromsensor umfasst ein Gehäuse (18), ein beweglich am Gehäuse (18) gelagertes Windfahnenpaddel (20), einen am Gehäuse (18) angeordneten durch ein Magnetfeld betätigbaren REED-Schalter und einen am Windfahnenpaddel (20) angeordneten das Magnetfeld erzeugenden korrespondierenden Magneten. Das Windfahnenpaddel (20) ist durch eine Rückstellkraft in eine Ausgangsposition bringbar und bei ausreichend starker Anströmung durch den Luftstrom über eine Zwischenposition in eine Endposition bringbar, wobei sich der Abstand zwischen dem REED-Schalter und dem korrespondierenden Magnet in der Zwischenposition vom entsprechenden Abstand in der Ausgangsposition derart unterscheidet, dass der REED-Schalter in der Ausgangsposition einen ersten Schaltzustand aufweist und in der Zwischenposition einen zweiten Schaltzustand aufweist.
