Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein bandförmiges oder blechförmiges, mit einer metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichtetes Stahlsubstrat, das eine modifizierte Oberfläche aufweist sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Halbzeugs mit modifizierter Oberfläche umfassend mindestens einen Verfahrensschritt der zumindest bereichsweisen Modifizierung der Oberfläche eines beschichteten, dressierten, beölten, gereinigten metallischen Stahlsubstrats mittels einer Atmosphärendruck-Plasmabehandlung besagter Oberflächenbereiche mit Sauerstoff, Luft, Formiergas oder ein Gemisch aus 2 oder mehreren dieser Gase als Prozessgas. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner die damit hergestellten Halbzeuge und/oder Stahlflachprodukte, gegebenenfalls umgeformte Halbzeuge und/oder Stahlflachprodukte sowie deren Verwendung.
Description
Oberflächenmodifikation von metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink im
Feuerbeschichtungsprozess
Die Erfindung betrifft ein bandförmiges oder blechförmiges, mit einer metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichtetes Stahlsubstrat, das eine modifizierte Oberfläche aufweist sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Halbzeugs mit modifizierter Oberfläche umfas send mindestens einen Verfahrensschritt der zumindest bereichsweisen Modifizierung der Ober fläche eines beschichteten, dressierten, beölten, gereinigten metallischen Stahlsubstrats mittels einer Atmosphärendruck- Plasmabehandlung besagter Oberflächenbereiche mit Sauerstoff, Luft, Formiergas oder ein Gemisch aus 2 oder mehreren dieser Gase als Prozessgas. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner die damit hergestellten Halbzeuge und/oder Stahlflachprodukte, gegebenenfalls umgeformte Halbzeuge und/oder Stahlflachprodukte sowie deren Verwendung.
Die Zugabe von Legierungselementen zu Schmelztauchüberzügen hat einen starken Einfluss auf die chemische Zusammensetzung in der oberflächennahen Schicht. Die Zusammensetzung der oberflächennahen Schicht hat wiederum großen Einfluss auf die weiterverarbeitenden Prozess schritte wie Vorbehandlungen, Kleben, Phosphatierungen und/oder Lackieren.
Bei Einführung neuer Werkstoff- oder Oberflächenkonzepte kann es aufgrund der oberflächenna hen Zusammensetzung dazu kommen, dass diese nicht optimal vom vorhandenen Prozessfens ter, zum Beispiel im Automobilprozess, abgedeckt werden. Dies kann sich wiederum negativ auf Eigenschaften wie Lackhaftung oder dem Bruchverhalten von verklebten Oberflächen auswirken, so dass neue Werkstoffe/Oberflächen nicht eingesetzt werden können oder das vorhandene Pro zessfenster umständlich angepasst werden muss.
Ferner bilden sich im Falle von Überzügen auf Zinkbasis prozessbedingt an der Oberfläche der Beschichtung Oxid- bzw. Hydroxid-Schichten von Zink bzw. der weiteren Legierungselemente der Beschichtung.
Aus dem Stand der Technik sind verschiedene Ansätze zur Modifikation dieser oberflächennahen Schichten bekannt. Aus der EP 2 824 213 Al ist ein Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Haftfähig keit auf einem mit einer Schutzbeschichtung auf Zn-Al-Mg-Basis versehenen Stahlblech bekannt, bei dem unter Aufbringung einer wässrigen Zusammensetzung auf Basis von Natriumfluorid die
natürliche AI203 und MgO aufweisende Oxidschicht modifiziert wird, ohne diese zu dekapieren. In der US 2015125714 A wird eine Schicht von Magnesiumoxid oder Magnesiumhydroxid einer Beschichtung auf Zn-Al-Mg-Basis durch Aufbringen einer Säurelösung auf die äußeren Oberflä chen und/oder durch Anwenden mechanischer Kräfte unter Verwendung einer Walzenrichtma schine, einer Bürstvorrichtung oder einer Sandstrahlvorrichtung geändert. Diese Ansätze sind bei nasschemischen Verfahren relativ aufwendig in Bezug auf Arbeitssicherheit und Umweltschutz. Bei den mechanischen Ansätzen sind relativ aufwändige Vorrichtungen notwendig.
Idealerweise müssen Materialien und Oberflächenkonzepte sich sowohl für automobiltypische Prozesse, als auch für den Coil Coating Prozess gleichermaßen in den Standardprozess integrie ren.
Plasmabehandlung ist eine bekannte Lösung für die Reinigung und Aktivierung von Oberflächen komponenten vor deren Weiterverarbeitung. Es werden kommerziell Reinigung, Oxidreduzierung und Vorbehandlung eines Metallsubstrats durch Plasmabehandlung angeboten. Als typische Metalle werden Aluminium, Aluminium / Magnesium Legierungen, Edelstahl, Kupferlegierungen oder Silberlegierungen genannt. Eine an der Oberfläche angeordnete Oxidschicht an sich wird aber nicht angegriffen oder in der chemischen Zusammensetzung signifikant geändert.
Der Erfindung liegt somit die Aufgabe zu Grunde, die oben genannten Nachteile der bekannten Verfahren zu überwinden und eine Alternative zu den bisher eingesetzten Verfahren bereit zu stel len, die mit vorhandenen Prozessen und Prozessfenster durchführbar ist. Das Verfahren soll fer ner auf Metallbeschichtungen basierend auf Zink optimiert sein.
Außerdem soll eine Alternative nach Behandlungsmethode für mit einer metallischen Beschich tung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichtete Stahlsubstrate zur Verfügung gestellt werden, die in einem einstufigen Prozessschritt die Oberflächen der Beschichtungen so verändert, dass eine gegenüber einer nicht behandelten Kontrolle verbesserte Haftung von Klebstoffen und oder Lackschichten gewährleistet ist.
Weitere Aufgabe ist es entsprechende, mit einer metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichtete Substrate bereitzustellen, die gegenüber einer nicht erfindungsgemäß behandelten Kontrolle verbesserte Klebe- und Lackiereigenschaften, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die Haftung, aufweisen.
Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe durch das Stahlsubstrat mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1 und 2, sowie das Verfahren mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 6.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft mithin ein bandförmiges oder blechförmiges, mit einer metalli schen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichtetes Stahlsubstrat, das in der an der Oberfläche befindlichen atomaren Monolage Oberflächenmodifikationen in Form runder, Zink-reicher Arealen mit einem Durchmesser von 20 - 300 pm aufweist. Bevorzugt weist die Oberflächenmodifikation, also die runden, zinkreichen Areale einen Durchmesser von mindes tens 20 pm, 25 pm, 30 pm, bevorzugt mindestens 35 pm, 40 pm, besonders bevorzugt mindes tens 45 pm, insbesondere mindestens 50 pm und maximal einen Durchmesser von 300 pm, 275 pm, 250 pm, bevorzugt einen maximalen Durchmesser von 240 pm, 220 pm, 200 pm, be sonders bevorzugt einen maximalen Durchmesser von 190 pm, 180 pm, 170 pm, 160 pm, ins besondere einen maximalen Durchmesser von 150 pm, 140 pm, 130 pm oder 120 pm.
Zur Charakterisierung der Oberfläche, insbesondere der an der Oberfläche befindlichen atoma ren Monolage wird die sogenannte ToF-SIMS (Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry) eingesetzt. Dabei wird die Konzentration von Zink, gegebenenfalls weiterer Legierungselemente der Beschichtung wie Magnesium und/oder Aluminium durch die jeweiligen Signalintensitäten widergegeben und mittels ToF-SIMS bestimmt und relativ betrachtet.
Mittels ToF-SIMS bestimmte relative Konzentrationen werden gemessen, in dem die ZM-Oberflä- che innerhalb einer repräsentativen Messfläche (5 x 5 mm2) rasternd untersucht wird. Dabei wird an jeder Position des Rasters ein Spektrum in der positiven Polarität aufgenommen und die Roh signale für die Hauptbestandteile der Beschichtung wie Zn und gegebenenfalls Mg und AI aufge nommen. Die relative Konzentration des Elements X, welches in diesem Fall entweder für das Element Magnesium, Zink und Aluminium stehen kann, ergibt sich aus dem Quotienten [X-Rohsi- gnal-lntegral / (Zn-Rohsignal-Integral + Mg-Rohsignal-Integral + Al-Rohsignal-Integral)].
Wobei “Rohsignal” bei dieser Definition die Peak-Fläche bedeutet bzw. „Rohsignal-Integral“ das über alle Rasterpositionen die integrierte Intensität darstellt, welche dem jeweiligen Element zu geordnet wird.
Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt die ToF-SIMS-Messung mittels eines Geräts TOF.SIMS 5, der Firma ION-TOF GmbH.
Die Bestimmung der relativen Konzentration der Legierungselemente der Beschichtung, wie beispielsweise von Zink, Aluminium und Magnesium erfolgt erfindungsgemäß durch Bestimmung der absoluten Konzentration dieser Elemente und anschließende Normierung auf 100 %; dabei wird die Summe der Konzentration der bestimmten Legierungselemente gleich 100 gesetzt und der Anteil des jeweiligen Elements an diesem 100 % als relative Konzentration, also bezogen auf 100%, gewertet bzw. gewichtet. Die relative Konzentration eines Elements (beispielsweise AI, Mg, Zn) bezieht sich mithin auf die Summe der Konzentrationen aller bestimmten Elemente, indem diese Summe 100% darstellt.
Da die absolute Konzentration der Legierungselemente, wie beispielsweise AI, Mg und Zn von Beschichtung zu Beschichtung variieren kann, erfolgt erfindungsgemäß die Angabe für das allgemein einzusetzende Verfahren als relative Konzentration und in Prozentpunkten, um die Änderungen genau zu definieren.
Dabei wird das Vorkommen der Legierungselemente, die beispielsweise und insbesondere Zink, Magnesium und Aluminium im Sinne der Erfindung unabhängig von der Form erfasst, in welcher diese vorliegen; es spielt mithin keine Rolle ob diese Elemente als neutrale Atome oder als Ionen, in einem Verbund wie zum Beispiel Legierung oder intermetallische Phasen oder in einer Verbindung wie zum Beispiel Komplexe, Oxide, Salze, Hydroxide oder Ähnliches vorliegen. Somit können die Begriffe "Zink", "Aluminium" und "Magnesium" im Sinne der Erfindung nicht nur die Elemente in reiner Form, sondern zusätzlich oxidische und/oder hydroxidische bzw. jegliche Form von Verbindungen, die diese Elemente enthalten, erfassen. Dasselbe gilt analog für weitere Elemente der Legierung der Beschichtung.
Die Charakterisierung der Zink-reichen Areale auf der Oberfläche der Substrate erfolgt mittels der entsprechenden Bildgebung des ToF-SIMS-Verfahrens. Dabei werden die Abbildungen der Signalintensitäten für die unterschiedlichen untersuchten Elemente (zum Beispiel Zn, Mg und/oder AI) übereinandergelegt. Die erfindungsgemäßen Substrate weisen darauf runde, bevorzugt im Wesentlichen kreisrunde Areale auf, in denen Zink innerhalb dieses Areals eine relative Konzentration von über 7 % aufweist, bevorzugt 10 %, 12 %, 15 %, 20 %, besonders bevorzugt 25 %, 40 %, 60 %, insbesondere 70 %, 90 % oder mehr.
Weiterer Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein bandförmiges oder blechförmiges, mit einer metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichtetes Stahlsubstrat, das in der Oberflächentopographie Oberflächenmodifikationen in Form von Krater mit einem mit tels REM-Aufnahme bestimmten Durchmesser von 0,2 - 30 pm aufweist. Die Durchmesser der Krater werden optisch mittels REM-Aufnahmen bestimmt, da sie makroskopisch nicht zu erken nen sind. Der Durchmesser beträgt mindestens 0,2 pm, 0,25 pm, 0,5 pm, bevorzugt mindestens 0,75 pm, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 1 pm, insbesondere mindestens 2 pm und maximal 30 pm, 28 pm, 26 pm, bevorzugt maximal 25 pm, 24 pm, 23 pm, 22 pm, 21 pm, besonders bevorzugt maximal 20 pm, 19 pm, 18 pm, 17 pm, 16 pm, insbesondere mindestens 15 pm, 14 pm, 13 pm oder 12 pm.
Die Krater sind trichterförmig Vertiefungen in der Oberflächentopographie der Beschichtung mit den oben beschriebenen Ausmaßen. Es handelt sich dabei um lokale Aufschmelzungen, erzeugt durch den Einschlag oder Aufschlag energiereicher Teilchen. Mithin können diese Vertiefungen als Impaktkrater bezeichnet werden.
In einer Ausführung der Erfindung stellen die zinkreichen Areale und die Krater ein und dieselbe Oberflächenmodifikation dar, die lediglich mit unterschiedlichen Verfahren und Analysemethoden charakterisiert werden. In diesem Sinne werden sowohl die zinkreichen Areale als auch die Krater als Oberflächenmodifikationen bezeichnet.
Die Oberflächenmodifikationen im Sinne der Erfindung werden durch Aufprall (Impakt, Einschlag) von Ladungsträger, bevorzugt eines Plasmas mit Sauerstoff, Luft, Formiergas oder ein Gemisch aus 2 oder mehreren dieser Gase als Prozessgas, erzeugt. Vielmehr wird zwischen der Kathode und dem Substrat eine derart hohe Spannung und/oder Stromstärke angelegt, dass sich die Ladungsträger in Spitzen an der geerdeten Substratoberfläche entladen. Hierdurch kommt es zu den bereits beschriebenen charakteristischen Einschlägen. Es handelt sich dabei weder um schichtweises Abtragen noch um ein Dekapieren der oberen Schicht oder Schichten einer Schmelztauchbeschichten sondern um punktuelle, lokale Modifikationen, bevorzugt in Form von Vertiefungen, die eine im Vergleich mit einer Kontrolle unterschiedliche Zusammensetzung der an der Oberfläche befindlichen atomaren Monolage und/oder einer an die Oberfläche grenzen den Schicht mit einer Dicke, die gleich der XPS-typischen Informationstiefe ist.
Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt die XPS-Messung mit einem Gerät: Phi Quantera II SXM Scanning XPS Microprobe von Physical Electronics GmbH. (Das Gerät weistfolgende allgemeine Geräteparame-
ter auf: Arbeitsdruck in Hauptkammer: < 1x10-6 Pa; Schleusendruck: < 2,7x10-4 Pa; Röntgen quelle: AI 1486,6 eV monochromatisch; Maximale Probengröße: 70 mm x 70mm x 15 mm (Hö he); Neutralisationsmittel: Ar und Elektronen; Neutralisationsspannung: 1,5 V; Neutralisationss tromstärke: 20,0 mA; Strahldurchmesser: lOOpm; Pass Energy (Durchlassenergie): 280eV; Spektrale Auflösung: leV.) In einer Alternative der Erfindung entspricht die XPS-typische Infor mationstiefe einer Schicht mit einer Dicke von im Wesentlichen 5 nm.
Im Sinne der Erfindung bedeutet der Begriff im Wesentlichen entsprechend bzw. im Wesentlichen gleich oder äquivalente Aussagen, eine Abweichung von einem bestimmten, vorgegebenen Wert bzw. einen Unterschied zwischen 2 Werten von maximal 50 %, 45%, 40 %, bevorzugt 30%, 25%, besonders bevorzugt 20%, 19%, 18%, 17%, 16%, 15%, 14%, 13%, 12%, 11%, insbeson dere 10%, 9%, 8%, 7%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, 1% oder 0,5%, 0,1%.
Im Sinne der Erfindung erfolgt die Bestimmung der Schichtdicke bzw. der Tiefe einer Schicht immer vom obersten Atom der jeweiligen Oberfläche aus.
Erfindungsgemäß werden die Begriffe "Bereich" und "Areal" und jeweilige Ableitungen davon (wie zum Beispiel bereichsweise etc.) nicht als Synonyme verwendet.
Unter einem bandförmigen Stahlsubstrat wird erfindungsgemäß ein Substrat verstanden, wel ches in Form eines Bandes, beispielsweise als Coil aufgewickelt bereitgestellt werden kann. Ein blechförmiges Substrat ist ein flächiges, üblicherweise gewalztes Substrat, dessen Dicke wesent lich kleiner ist, als dessen Breite oder Länge; insbesondere Stahlbänder, Stahlbleche und daraus gewonnene Zuschnitte, wie Platinen und desgleichen. Das Halbzeug wird gemäß der vorliegen den Erfindung weiteren Verfahrensschritten, auch beispielsweise Umformschritten unterzogen. Ein Stahlsubstrat ist ein Substrat aus Stahl.
In einer Ausführung ist das Stahlsubstrat mit einer metallischen Beschichtung, auf Zn-, ZnMg-, ZnAI- und/oder ZnMgAI-Basis beschichtet. Ein für die erfindungsgemäßen Zwecke besonders geeignetes Schmelztauchbad und eine entsprechende metallische Beschichtung auf dem Sub strat enthält oder besteht in einer Alternative aus Zn und unvermeidbaren Verunreinigungen. In einer anderen Alternative enthält oder besteht ein Schmelztauchbad und eine entsprechende metallische Beschichtung zwischen 0,1 und 10,0 Gew.-% Magnesium und/oder zwischen 0,1 und 20,0 Gew.-% Aluminium, bevorzugt mindestens 0,3 Gew.-%, 0,5 Gew.-% Magnesium, be-
sonders bevorzugt 1,0 Gew.-% Mg, insbesondere 2,0 Gew.-% Mg und maximal 4,0 Gew.-% Ma gnesium, besonders bevorzugt 3,0 Gew.-% Mg, insbesondere 2,5 Gew.-%, 2,0 Gew.-% Mg und/oder mindestens 0,5 Gew.-% AI, besonders bevorzugt 0,7 Gew.-% AI, 1,0 Gew.-% AI, insbe sondere 2,0 Gew.-% AI und maximal 11,0 Gew.-% AI, besonders bevorzugt 6,0 Gew.-% AI, 4,0 Gew.-% AI, 3,0 Gew.-% AI, insbesondere 2,0 Gew.-% AI, als Rest Zn und unvermeidbare Verun reinigungen. Vorzugsweise ist das Mg/Al-Massenverhältnis kleiner oder gleich 1, besonders be vorzugt kleiner 0,9.
In einer weiteren Alternative kann das Schmelztauchbad und die entsprechende metallische Be schichtung bis zu 0,3 Gew.-% von jedem der optionalen Zusatzelemente enthalten, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe enthaltend oder bestehend aus Si, Sb, Pb, Ti, Ca, Mn, Sn, La, Ce, Cr, Ni, Zr und Bi. Ferner könne auch Reste weiterer Elemente vorliegen, die beispielsweise aus den vorange gangenen Schritte stammen oder unvermeidbare Verunreinigungen.
Die Konzentrationen der einzelnen Elemente in der Beschichtung unterscheiden sich in Grenzflä- chen-nahen Schichten von den Konzentrationen im Schmelztauchbad. Insbesondere in Oberflä- chen-nahen Schichten wie der Reaktionsschicht liegen die einzelnen Elemente in einem Verhält nis vor, das sich von dem des Schmelztauchbades unterscheidet.
In den Alternativen mit einer Mg-enthaltenden Beschichtung auf Zn-Basis sorgt insbesondere die magnesiumreiche Oxidschicht in Kombination mit den Komponenten des Öls, insbesondere Es ter, für ein schlechtes Benetzungsverhalten von Prozessmedien in den weiteren Oberflächenbe handlungsschritten.
Um einen ausreichenden Korrosionsschutz zu ermöglichen, weist gemäß einer Ausgestaltung die zinkbasierte Beschichtung des Stahlsubstrats eine Auflage von mindestens 20 g/m2, bevorzugt 30 g/m2, 40 g/m2, 50 g/m2, 60 g/m2, 70 g/m2, 80 g/m, 90 g/m2, 100 g/m2 oder 120 g/m2, insbesondere von mindestens 40 g/m2 bis maximal 300 g/m2, 200 g/m2, bevorzugt 150 g/m2, besonders bevorzugt 120 g/m2, 100 g/m2, insbesondere 90 g/m2, 80 g/m2 pro Seite ein- oder beidseitig, bevorzugt flächendeckend. So werden Beschichtungen mit einer Dicke von mindes tens 0,5 pm, 1,0 gm, 2,0 pm oder 3,0 pm, bevorzugt 4,0 pm, 5,0 pm oder 6,0 pm, insbesonde re von mindestens 7,0 pm, 8,0 pm, 9,0 pm oder 10,0 pm bis maximal 10,0 pm, 12,0 pm, 15,0 pm, 20,0 pm, bevorzugt 25,0 pm, 30,0 pm, besonders bevorzugt 35,0 pm, 40,0 pm insbeson dere 50,0 pm oder mehr pro Seite ein- oder beidseitig aufgetragen, bevorzugt flächendeckend.
Eine weitere Ausführung betrifft das oben beschriebene, schmelztauchbeschichtete Stahlsub strat, das pro mm2 mindestens 10 Oberflächenmodifikationen, mindestens 12, bevorzugt 15, 20 oder 25, insbesondere mindestens 30, 40 oder 50, insbesondere mindestens 75 oder 100 Ober flächenmodifikationen pro mm2 bis maximal 15, bevorzugt maximal 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 10000, 100000 oder 300000, besonders bevorzugt maximal flächendeckend in dem entspre chenden behandelten Bereich aufweist.
In einer weiteren Ausführung weist das Substrat eine zumindest bereichsweise mittels Plasma behandelte modifizierte Oberfläche auf. Eine Modifizierung der Oberfläche mittels Plasmabe handlung kann lediglich bereichsweise bezüglich der gesamten Oberfläche des Substrats erfol gen, auf einer Seite des band- oder blechförmigen Substrats oder auf beiden Seiten. Bevorzugt erfolgt die Behandlung in bestimmten, vordefinierten Bereichen oder auf einer Seite des Sub strats. In einer Alternative ist die Behandlung flächendeckend, d. h. die Modifizierungen erstre cken sich über die gesamte Fläche eines Bereichs, einer Seite oder beider Seiten des Substrats.
Die Plasmabehandlung erfolgt bei Atmosphärendruck, d. h. bei einem Druck (Luftdruck) von mindestens 750 mbar, bevorzugt 800 mbar, 850 mbar, 900 mbar, besonders bevorzugt 950 mbar, insbesondere 1000 mbar und maximal 1100 mbar, bevorzugt 1070 mbar, 1050 mbar, besonders bevorzugt 1030 mbar, insbesondere 1020 mbar.
Erfindungsgemäß wird als Prozessgas in einer Alternative Luft, Sauerstoff, Formiergas oder ein Gemisch aus 2 oder mehreren dieser Gase eingesetzt. Bei dem Einsatz von Luft als Prozessgas handelt es sich im Sinne der Erfindung um eine Plasmabehandlung in der Atmosphäre ohne Zu satz von weiteren Prozessgasen. Der Einsatz einer Mischung von Luft und Sauerstoff bezeichnet eine Plasmabehandlung in der Atmosphäre mit Anreicherung von Sauerstoff. Bei dem Einsatz von Formiergas als Prozessgas wird im Sinne der Erfindung ein Gasgemisch aus Stickstoff und Wasserstoff, alternativ Argon und Wasserstoff eingesetzt. Bevorzugt wird als Formiergas ein Gas gemisch aus Stickstoff und Wasserstoff verwendet, mit einem Anteil von Wasserstoff von 1-30 %, bevorzugt 1-20 %, besonders bevorzugt 1-10 %, insbesondere 1-5 % Wasserstoff, Rest ist Stickstoff. Entsprechende Gasgemisch sind käuflich erhältlich.
Die Plasmabehandlung bei Atmosphärendruck basiert auf der Applikation des Plasmas auf ein Substrat mittels Vorrichtungen, sogenannter Düsen. Als Applikationsfläche einer einzelnen sol chen Vorrichtung, Düse versteht man im Sinne der Erfindung einen Flächenbereich auf dem Sub-
strat, auf den das Plasma auftrifft. Die Behandlungsdauer t pro Applikationsfläche mindestens 0,1 Sekunden, 0,5 Sekunden, bevorzugt 1, bevorzugt 5, 10, 20, insbesondere 30 Sekunden und maximal 300, 180, besonders bevorzugt 120, 60 insbesondere Sekunden 30, 20, 10, 5, 3, oder 1 Sekunden. Die Behandlungsdauer t wird in einer Alternative über den Vorschub der Vorrich tung oder des Substarts definiert und beträgt mindestens 0,1 m/min, 1 m/min, bevorzugt 2, 3 m/min, besonders bevorzugt 15, 20 m/min, insbesondere 30 m/min und maximal 20, 30 m/min, bevorzugt 35, 40 ,45, 50, 60 m/min, besonders bevorzugt 70, 80, 90 oder 100 m/min.
Ferner ist die Plasmabehandlung definiert durch eines oder mehrere der folgenden Merkmale des eingesetzten Generators:
• eine Leistung P von mindestens 0,5, bevorzugt 1,0 oder 2,0 besonders bevorzugt 3,0 oder 4,0 insbesondere 5,0 kW und maximal 100,0, 75,0, oder 50,0, bevor zugt 25,0 oder 20,0, besonders bevorzugt 15,0, insbesondere 10,0 kW;
• eine Freguenz f von mindestens 5 oder 10, bevorzugt 15, besonders bevorzugt 18, insbesondere 20 kHz und maximal 100, bevorzugt 80, besonders bevorzugt 50, insbesondere 40 kHz;
• eine Stromstärke I von mindestens 1,00 A, bevorzugt 5,00 oder 10,00, besonders bevorzugt 15, insbesondere 20,00 A und maximal 50,00, oder 40,00 A, bevor zugt 30,00 oder, besonders bevorzugt 25,00, insbesondere 22,00 A sowie
• eine Spannung U von mindestens 100 V oder 250 V, bevorzugt 250, besonders bevorzugt 280 V, insbesondere 300 V und maximal 500 V, bevorzugt 480, beson ders bevorzugt 450 insbesondere 420 V.
Eine Ausführung der Erfindung betrifft das oben beschriebene plasmabehandelte Substrat, wo bei der relative Flächenanteil des Zinksignals in der an der Oberfläche befindlichen atomaren Monolage mittels ToF-SIMS bestimmt, in dem modifizierten Bereich mindestens 10 % beträgt. Das heißt, über den gesamten plasmabehandelten, modifizierten Flächenbereich, also jener Be reich der Oberfläche des Substrats der den Ladungsträgern des Plasmas ausgesetzt war, beträgt der Anteil an Zink in der an der Oberfläche befindlichen atomaren Monolage mittels ToF-SIMS
io bestimmt mindestens 10%, 12% oder 15%, bevorzugt 20% oder 25%, besonders bevorzugt 30% oder 40%, insbesondere 50%, 60% oder 70%, idealerweise über 75%.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines bandförmigen oder blech förmigen, mit einer metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichteten Stahlsubstrats, das eine mittels einer oben beschriebenen Plasmabehandlung, gegenüber einer Kontrolle, modifizierte Oberfläche aufweist. Eine Kontrolle im Sinne der Erfindung ist ein schmelz- tauchbeschichtetes Substrat, welches einschließlich der Beschichtung identisch mit der Probe ist, die erfindungsgemäß eingesetzt wird, d. h. die Kontrolle hat bis auf die Plasmabehandlung dieselben Prozesse und Herstellungsschritte durchlaufen und weist bis vor der Plasmabehand lung dieselben Eigenschaften auf. Der einzige Unterschied der Kontrolle zu dem erfindungsge mäß eingesetzten Substrat ist, dass die Kontrolle nicht der erfindungsgemäß einzusetzenden Plasmabehandlung unterzogen wird.
Das Verfahren der oben beschriebenen Plasmabehandlung lässt sich im Allgemeinen auf feuer beschichtetes Stahlband übertragen. Nach der Schmelztauchbeschichtung diffundieren die sau erstoffaffinen Legierungselemente des Überzuges an die Oberfläche und bilden dort eine Oxid schicht, die sich wie im Falle des Magnesiums auf nachfolgende Prozesse negativ auswirken kann. Bei einem Z-Überzug bestehen die sich ausbildende Oxidschicht und die metallischen oberflächennahen Phasen primär aus Aluminium, das im Vergleich zum Zink sauerstoffaffiner ist. Auch in diesem Fall werden durch eine erfindungsgemäße Behandlung der Oberfläche Aluminiu manteile an der Oberfläche reduziert und durch Zink ersetzt.
Weiterer Gegenstad der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Halbzeugs mit modifi zierter Oberfläche die folgenden Verfahrensschritte umfasst:
I. Bereitstellen eines bandförmigen oder blechförmigen Stahlsubstrats,
II. zumindest bereichsweises Aufbringen einer beidseitigen metallischen Beschich tung auf Basis von Zink durch Schmelztauchbeschichten,
III. Dressieren, bevorzugt des beschichteten Bereichs, des metallisch beschichteten Substarts aus Schritt II.,
M. zumindest bereichsweise Modifizierung der Oberfläche des Substrats aus Schritt II. oder III. mittels einer Atmosphärendruck-Plasmabehandlung besagter Oberflä chenbereiche mit Luft, Sauerstoff, Formiergas oder einem Gemisch aus 2 oder mehreren dieser Gase als Prozessgas nach Schritt II. und/oder III., ggf. IV. Bedien, bevorzugt des dressierten Bereichs, des mittels Plasmabehandlung modi fizierten, dressierten, metallisch beschichteten Substrats.
Ein Substrat, wird für das Aufbringen einer beidseitigen metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink, in der Regel vorbereitet, zum Beispiel gereinigt, bevorzugt in einem Durchlaufglühofen. In dessen vorderen oxidierenden Teil werden Öl- und Schmutzreste entfernt und die Stahloberflä che läuft zu einer dünnen Oxidschicht an. In dem folgenden, reduzierenden Teil des Ofens wird diese Oxidschicht von Wasserstoff durch Reduktion entfernt. Durch dieses Glühen im Ofen findet eine Rekristallisation statt, wodurch außerdem die Verfestigung des kaltgewalzten Materials be seitigt wird. Anschließend wird das Band auf die Temperatur der Metallschmelze gebracht und in Schritt I für die Beschichtung bereitgestellt.
Im folgenden Schritt II wird es schmelztauchbeschichtet, indem es durch ein schmelzflüssiges Metallbad geführt wird. Die gewünschte Beschichtungssdicke wird mit einem Düsenabstreifver fahren eingestellt. Anschließend lässt man die Beschichtungen kontrolliert abkühlen, gegebenen falls wird die Beschichtung nach dem Bad abgeschreckt. Beim Beschichten bildet sich durch Diffusion des flüssigen Zinks und gegebenenfalls weiterer Metalle der Beschichtung mit der Stahloberfläche auf dem Stahlteil ein Überzug verschiedenartig zusammengesetzter Eisen-Zink- Legierungsschichten oder Eisen-Zink-Legierungsschichten enthaltend weitere Metalle. Auf der obersten Legierungsschicht befindet sich eine Reinschicht bestehend aus der reinen Beschich tung, also ohne Eisen-Diffusion. In einer Alternative entspricht die Reinschicht in ihrer Zusam mensetzung der applizierten Schmelze.
Nach der Erstarrung der metallischen Beschichtung wird das beschichtete Substrat in Schritt III dressiert und gegebenenfalls streck- oder streckbiegegerichtet. Die Dehnungsrate liegt üblicher weise im Bereich von 0,3 bis 5 %. Dadurch werden die Oberflächentopographie und die Zusam mensetzung der Beschichtung in den oberflächennahen Schichten definiert. Insbesondere ist unter der Oberflächentopographie ein Profilverlauf zu verstehen, der beispielsweise durch Rau-
heit, Spitzenzahl und Welligkeit gekennzeichnet ist. In einer Alternative erfolgt eine Oberflächen nachbehandlung.
An Schritt II. und/oder III. schließt sich in Schritt M. eine Modifizierung der Oberfläche mittels Plasmabehandlung wie oben beschrieb an. Eine Ausführung betrifft das erfindungsgemäße Ver fahren, wobei die Plasmabehandlung M inline erfolgt. Das heißt, Schritt M erfolgt in der Schmelz tauchanlage (auch Schmelztauchveredelungsanlage genannt). Mithin weist die Schmelztauchan lage eine Vorrichtung zur Atmosphärendruck- Plasmabehandlung mit Luft, Sauerstoff, Formier gas oder einem Gemisch aus 2 oder mehreren dieser Gase als Prozessgas auf.
In einer Alternative wird als weiterer Schritt IV. das Substrat beölt, also mit einem Oberflächen schutz versehen.
In Sinne der Erfindung weist das beölte Substrat nach Schritt IV. folgende oberflächennahe Schichtabfolge auf:
1 - Reinschicht;
2 - Reaktionsschicht;
3 - gegebenenfalls Sorptionsschicht;
4 - gegebenenfalls Kontaminationsschicht.
Bei der Reinschicht 1 handelt es sich um die oben beschriebene Reinschicht bestehend aus der reinen Beschichtung und gegebenenfalls nicht vermeidbare Verunreinigungen wie z.B. Eisen.
Die Reaktionsschicht 2, mit einer Dicke von 1-100 nm, bevorzugt 50-100 nm, besteht aus Reak tionsprodukten der Reinschicht und wird durch Reaktion von Metallen an der Oberfläche und gegebenenfalls die nächsten darunterliegenden Atomschichten der Reinschicht bei Kontakt mit der Atmosphäre gebildet. Demgemäß weist die Reaktionsschicht im Wesentlichen Metalloxide und/oder Metallhydroxide auf. In die Reaktionsschicht können auch Additive, beispielsweise von Schmierstoffen mit eingebaut werden; gegebenenfalls sind zusätzlich Sulfide und/oder Carbona- te vorhanden.
Die Reaktionsschicht geht in eine Sorptionsschicht 3, mit einer Dicke von 0,1 - 100 nm über. Es handelt sich dabei um Anreicherungen von Stoffen bzw. von Kolloiden oder Partikeln in einem
Phasengrenzgebiet, zwischen der festen Phase der Reaktionsschicht 2 und der umgebenden At mosphäre als Gasphase. Diese Sorptionsschicht 3 ist kohlenstoff- (aus Kohlenwasserstoffen) und sauerstoffreich, enthält oder besteht im Wesentlichen aus organischen Substanzen, insbe sondere Ester von Carbonsäuren gegebenenfalls Wasser. Die Stoffe bzw. Kolloide oder Partikeln der Sorptionsschicht können nicht mit einer einfachen chemischen, nicht reaktiven Reinigung entfernt werden, da es sich um werkstofffremde Substanzen handelt, die schwerer zu entfernen sind als die Verunreinigungen der darauffolgenden Kontaminations- (Verunreingungs)-schicht.
Als äußerste Schicht schließt sich die Kontaminationsschicht 4 an. Mit einer Dicke von mindes tens 0,1 pm, bevorzugt mindesten 1 pm, besonders bevorzugt 10 pm bis maximal 100 pm, ent hält sie zu entfernende Verschmutzungen wie zum Beispiel Schmutz, Fertigungsrückstände und/oder zuvor aufgetragene Fette und/oder Öle.
Für die weitere Bearbeitung des Substrats zur Herstellung eines Halbzeugs oder weiteren Her stellung von Halbfabrikaten oder Fertigteilen, wie beispielsweise CC oder Phosphatierung, ist die Reinigung des Substrats in einem Schritt V. notwendig. Durch die Reinigung wird die Benetzbar keit der metallischen Beschichtung mit wässrigen Medien verbessert. In einer Alternative wird eine nasschemische Reinigung durchgeführt. Es werden alkalische, bevorzugt mild-alkalische Reinigungsmittel oder organische Lösungsmittel eingesetzt. In einer Alternative wird ein oder mehrere Mittel eingesetzt, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe enthaltend oder bestehend aus: mild-alka lischen Reinigungsmittel mit einem pH von 9 bis 11, bevorzugt 9,5 bis 10,5; stark alkalischen Reinigungsmittel mit einem pH von 12 bis 14, bevorzugt 12,5 bis 13,0; n-Heptan, Methyl ethylke- ton, Tetrahydrofuran, Isopropanol, Ethanol, Waschbenzin (auch als Testbenzin bezeichnet) oder Mischung von zwei oder mehrerer genannter Stoffe; bevorzugt Mischung von n-Heptan mit Te trahydrofuran, Mischung von n-Heptan mit Ethanol.
Diese Reinigung ist in einer Alternative eine Entfettung.
Ferner wird in einer Alternative in diesem Reinigungsschritt im Wesentlichen die Verschmutzun gen der Kontaminationsschicht entfernt, mithin wird im Wesentlichen die Kontaminationsschicht abgetragen. Trotzdem können Öl- und/oder Fettreste oder Komponenten davon auf dem Sub strat, insbesondere in der Sorptionsschicht verbleiben.
Die Reinigung erfolgt im Spritz-oder Tauchverfahren oder als Bandbeschichtung. Die Reinigung kann lediglich bereichsweise bezüglich der gesamten Oberfläche des Substrats erfolgen, auf einer Seite des band-oder blechförmigen Substrats oder auf beiden Seiten. Bevorzugt erfolgt die
Behandlung in bestimmten, vordefinierten Bereichen oder auf einer Seite des Substrats, d. h. über die gesamte Fläche einer Seite, mithin flächendeckend.
Charakteristisch für die erfindungsgemäße Modifizierung der Oberfläche durch Plasmabehand lung ist die Änderung der chemischen Zusammensetzung der Reaktionsschicht 2 (siehe oben). Mit anderen Worten, die jeweiligen Anteile an Metallen, deren Oxide bzw. Hydroxide werden durch die Plasmabehandlung geändert. Insbesondere wird die Oberflächentopographie geän dert, wobei die Änderung in einem mikroskopischen Maßstab erfolgt und zum Beispiel mittels ToF-SIMS, XPS oder REM detektierbar ist.
In einer weiteren Ausführung der Erfindung wird das bandförmige Substrat nach mindestens einem der Schritte I., II., III., IV., V. und/oder VI. zu einem Coil aufgehaspelt wird, um dem nächsten Arbeitsschritten zugeführt zu werden bzw. zugeführt. Zur Ausführung des folgenden Arbeitsschritts wird das Coil entsprechend abgehaspelt. Durch das Auf- bzw. Abhaspeln werden die Ergebnisse der vorangegangenen Schritte nicht verändert, was mithin ein weiteres Merkmal des Substrats bzw. Flalbzeugs ist.
Eine Ausführung betrifft das Verfahren, das nach Schritt IV., Beölen - kann in dieser Ausführung als IV. a bezeichnet werden - einen Alterungsschritt IV. b umfasst. Der Alterungsschritt umfasst einen oder mehrere der folgenden Teilschritte: Verteilung des Öls auf der Oberflächentopogra phie des Substrats, Aufhaspeln, Lagerung, Transport zum Kunden, Abhasplen etc. Der Alte rungsschritt dauert mindestens 0,5 Stunden, 1,0, 6,0, 12,0 oder 24,0 Stunden bis zu mehreren (mindestens 2) Tagen, Wochen, Monaten oder Jahren. Der Einfluss der Alterung ist relevant für die oberflächennahen Schichten des Substrats, da trotz Beölung sich eine Oxidschicht (Reakti onsschicht -2-) von bis zu 200 nm ausbilden kann. Die unterhalb dieser Schicht liegenden metal lischen Phasen oxidieren dadurch ebenfalls. Eine übliche Reinigung ist deshalb für einen spätere, flächendeckende hydrophile Benetzung ausreichend. Da die erfindungsgemäßen Substrate und/oder Halbzeuge eine Modifikation durch Plasmabehandlung aufweisen, ist die Oxidschicht weniger Mg-reich, sondern enthält mehr Zn. Zinkoxide sind besser durch die verwendeten alkali schen Reinigersysteme entfernbar. Auch andere Prozessmedien funktionieren besser auf zinkrei chen Oberflächen.
In einer Ausführung erfolgt nach der Reinigung in Schritt V. ein weiterer Oberflächenbehand lungsschritt VI.
In einer Alternative wird als weiterer Oberflächenbehandlungsschritt Vl-i. ein Coil-Coating-Verfah- ren durchgeführt.
Hierzu wird nach Schritt V. zunächst eine Vorbehandlung für Coil Coating als Schritt Vl-i-a durch geführt. Die Vorbehandlung umfasst beispielsweise einem dem Fachmann bekannte chemische Passivierung oder eine andere oder weitere Vorbehandlung, wie Applikation von Haftvermittler, Aktivierungs- und/oder Passivierungsmittel. Die Plasmabehandlung vor der Applikation von Vor behandlungsmedien gewährleistet ein verbessertes Benetzungsverhalten der jeweiligen Vorbe handlung im Vergleich zu einer Kontrolle ohne Plasmabehandlung und somit für eine stärkere / homogenere Anbindung der im Folgenden aufzutragenden Schichten, wie zum Beispiel ein stabi lerer Lackaufbau.
Anschließend wird das Coil-Coating-Verfahren als Schritt Vl-i-b. durchgeführt. Die Lackierung, gegebenenfalls in mehreren Schichten wie zum Beispiel Grundierung, Decklack und/oder Klar lack, werden im Walzverfahren aufgetragen und bei etwa 240 °C eingebrannt. Der Lack kann mittels einer Kaschierfolie geschützt werden. Schließlich wird das endlose lackierte Substrat / Halbzeug zu einem Coil aufwickelt. Alternativ kann das Coil abgelängt werden, gegebenenfalls vor dem Kaschieren.
In einer Ausführung wird nach dem Dressieren in Schritt III. eine Modifizierung der Oberfläche des dressierten Substrats aus Schritt III. mittels einer zumindest bereichsweisen Plasmabehand lung der Oberfläche in einem Schritt lll-ii-a und gegebenenfalls ein Schritt lll-ii-b der Vor- und/oder Nachbehandlung durchgeführt. Diese sowie die Plasmabehandlung erfolgt wie oben beschrieben.
Eine weitere Ausführung betrifft ein Verfahren umfassend die Schritte I. bis VI. und optional den Schritt lll-ii-a und gegebenenfalls den Schritt lll-ii-b, in welchem vor der Reinigung in Schritt V. - der in dieser Ausführung als V-ii-b bezeichnet werden kann - mindestens ein Schritt V-ii-a ausge wählt aus der Gruppe der Verfahren enthaltend oder bestehend aus Abtafeln, Umformen, Fügen, Entfetten, Aktivieren, Phosphatieren, kathodischen Tauchlakieren und Lackieren durchgeführt wird. Dabei kann Fügen wiederum Punktschweißen, Kleben und Laserlöten sein.
In dieser Ausführung wird in einer Alternative als weiterer Oberflächenbehandlungsschritt Vl-ii-a. nach der Reinigung V. eine Aktivierung der Oberfläche durchgeführt wird. Dabei wird die Oberflä che des plasmabehandelten Substrats in einen Zustand versetzt, der zu einer chemischen Reakti on befähigt. Durch den Kontakt des plasmabehandelten Substrats mit einem sauren oder alkali schen Medium lösen sich Metallionen aus der Oberfläche. Sie können dann mit Bestandteilen der Lösung Verbindungen eingehen. Häufig werden für die Aktivierung verdünnte Phosphorsäurever bindungen oder spezielle Verbindungen, die wie Impfkristalle wirken, verwendet. Die Aktivierung dient der folgenden Phosphatierung, die als weiterer Oberflächenbehandlungsschritt Vl-ii-b in dieser Alternative erfolgt.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Halbzeug mit modifizierter Oberfläche hergestellt in einem Ver fahren wie oben beschrieben.
Weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung einer Atmosphärendruck- Plasmabe handlung mit Luft, Sauerstoff, Formiergas oder einem Gemisch aus 2 oder mehreren dieser Ga se als Prozessgas zur Herstellung einer modifizierten Oberfläche eines Substarts wie oben be schrieben, die im Vergleich zu einer Kontrolle nach der Plasmabehandlung einen höheren relati ven Flächenanteil des Zinksignals, mittels ToF-SIMS bestimmt, in der an der Oberfläche befindli chen atomaren Monolage aufweist.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist auch ein Verfahren zur Erhöhung der relativen Kon zentration von Zink in der an der Oberfläche grenzenden Schicht mit einer Dicke, die gleich der XPS-typischen Informationstiefe ist, eines bandförmigen oder blechförmigen, mit einer metalli schen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichteten Stahlsubstrats, durch Modifi kation der Oberfläche mittels Plasmabehandlung.
Eine Plasmabehandlung mit Luft, Sauerstoff, Formiergas oder einem Gemisch aus 2 oder meh reren dieser Gase als Prozessgas, verbessert die Benetzbarkeit von metallisch beschichtetem Stahl mit wässrigen Medien.
Die verbesserte Benetzbarkeit lässt sich für den Coil Coating Prozess nutzen, um ein gleichmäßi geres Coating Ergebnis zu erzielen. Durch die Modifizierung der Oberfläche mittels Plasmabe handlung kann bei Verwendung der bisher eingesetzten Geräte und Prozesse ein fehlerfreies Ergebnis erzielt werden. Der Effekt der Plasmabehandlung wirkt sich positiv auf eine Vielzahl
wässriger chemischer Behandlungen sowohl im Automobil- als dem Coil Coating-Prozess genutzt werden.
Im Sinne der Erfindung können auch Kombinationen der oben beschriebenen Ausführungen und Alternativen eingesetzt werden.

Beispiel 1
Fig. 1 zeigt eine REM-Aufnahme eines erfindungsgemäßen Substrats nach einer Plasmabehand lung wie oben beschrieben. Deutlich sind darin die Modifikationen in Form von Krater zu erken nen.
Beispiel 2
Fig. 2 zeigt ein sogenanntes ToF-SIMS Mapping, in welchen die Signalintensitätsverteilungen von Magnesium, Aluminium und Zink eines erfindungsgemäßen Substrats nach einer Plasmabe handlung übereinandergelegt wurden. In der vorliegenden schwarz-weiß Ausführung ist das zink reiche Areal markiert und als dunkle Fläche deutlich erkennbar.
Beispiel 3
Untersuchung des Effekts der Plasmabehandlung auf ZnMgAl -Basis beschichtete Substrate Die Anteile von Zn/Al/Mg wurden wir oben beschrieben mittels XPS bestimmt und auf 100 at.% normiert. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tab. 1 zusammengefasst und zeigen deutlich die Zunahme des Zinkanteils aufgrund der Plasmabehandlung.
Die Ergebnisse korrelieren ferner mit den entsprechenden ToF-SIMS Auswertungen (ToF-SIMS Mapping).
Claims
1. Bandförmiges oder blechförmiges, mit einer metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichtetes Stahlsubstrat, das in der an der Oberfläche befindlichen atomaren Monolage Oberflächenmodifikationen in Form runder, Zink-reicher Bereiche mit einem Durchmesser von 20 - 300 gm aufweist.
2. Bandförmiges oder blechförmiges, mit einer metallischen Beschichtung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichtetes Stahlsubstrat, das in der Oberflächentopographie Ober flächenmodifikationen in Form von Krater mit einem mittels REM-Aufnahme bestimmten Durchmesser von 0,2 - 30 pm aufweist.
3. Substrat nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, mit einer Mindestanzahl von 10 Oberflächenmodifikationen pro mm2.
4. Substrat nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Substrat zumindest bereichsweise eine mittels Plasmabehandlung modifizierte Oberfläche aufweist.
5. Substrat nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der relative Flächenanteil des Zinksignals in der an der Oberfläche befindlichen atomaren Monolage mittels ToF-SIMS bestimmt, in dem modifizierten Bereich mindestens 15 % beträgt.
6. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Halbzeugs mit modifizierter Oberfläche umfassend die fol genden Verfahrensschritte:
I. Bereitstellen eines bandförmigen oder blechförmigen Stahlsubstrats,
II. zumindest bereichsweises Aufbringen einer beidseitigen metallischen Beschich tung auf Basis von Zink durch Schmelztauchbeschichten,
III. Dressieren des metallisch beschichteten Substarts aus Schritt II.,
M. zumindest bereichsweise Modifizierung der Oberfläche des Substrats aus Schritt II. oder III. mittels einer Atmosphärendruck- Plasmabehandlung besagter Oberflä chenbereiche mit Luft, Sauerstoff, Formiergas oder einem Gemisch aus 2 oder mehreren dieser Gase als Prozessgas nach Schritt II. und/oder III., ggf. IV. Beölen, bevorzugt des dressierten Bereichs, des mittels Plasmabehandlung modi fizierten, dressierten, metallisch beschichteten Substrats aus Schritt III.,
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verfahren nach Schritt IV. Bedien einen Reinigungsschritt V. umfasst.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass nach der Reinigung der Ober fläche in Schritt V. ein weiterer Oberflächenbehandlungsschritt VI. durchgeführt wird.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als weiterer Oberflächenbe handlungsschritt Vl-i. ein Coil-Coating-Verfahren durchgeführt wird.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass nach Schritt V. zunächst eine Vorbehandlung für Coil Coating als Schritt Vl-i-a und anschließend das Coil-Coating-Ver- fahren als Schritt Vl-i-b. durchgeführt wird.

Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass nach dem Dressieren in Schritt III eine Modifizierung der Oberfläche des dressierten Substrats aus Schritt III. mit tels einer zumindest bereichsweisen Plasmabehandlung der Oberfläche in einem Schritt lll-ii-a und gegebenenfalls ein Schritt lll-ii-b der Vor-und/oder Nachbehandlung durchge führt wird.
12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6 und optional 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass vor der Reini gung in Schritt V. (jetzt V-ii-b) mindestens ein Schritt V-ii-a ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der Verfahren enthaltend oder bestehend aus Abtafeln, Umformen, Fügen, Entfetten, Ak tivieren, Phosphatieren, kathodischen Tauchlackieren und Lackieren durchgeführt wird.
13. Verfahren nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als weiterer Oberflächenbe handlungsschritt Vl-ii-a. eine Aktivierung der Oberfläche durchgeführt wird.
14. Verfahren nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als weiterer Oberflächenbe handlungsschritt Vl-ii-b. einer Phosphatierung der Oberfläche durchgeführt wird.
15. Verfahren zur Erhöhung der relativen Konzentration von Zink in der an der Oberfläche die Oberfläche grenzenden Schicht mit einer Dicke, die gleich der XPS-typischen Informati onstiefe ist, eines bandförmigen oder blechförmigen, mit einer metallischen Beschich tung auf Basis von Zink schmelztauchbeschichteten Stahlsubstrats, durch Modifikation der Oberfläche mittels Plasmabehandlung.
